i tried using my old account and registered my key to it. which was validated at the end. but now it turns out i still cant login on the servers. cant change my account details/ methods of payment or what so ever.

i aint getting the cofirmation email about my activated key nor am i able to recreate a new account......

anyone else having these problems? or is it just me?

Yes i am, i just got home after buying the game installs it ok then i create an account, seems ok..

tells me i have activate it from the e-mail they send... except no e-mail has appeared (yes i made extra sure the e-mail was right), can't do anything on their website except fillout an help form and wait.

so i can't even play the game as it fails on authentication...

It has a flash login [top left corner] that seems to be greyed out. So i can't login to manage my account or anything!

I used the "Codes" part to activate my keys and i DID receive a confirmation email.

So now i'm stuck, when running the patcher i get authentication error , so can't login there. Can't login to the website .

I went to http://accounts.eamythic.com  where my old DAOC account is, my key does not even freaking work there , i get "invalid key" .

To make things even WORSE, now i try to contact support , guess what , now i need ANOTHER freaking EA.COM account...omg....what a bloody mess!

So now i have 3 places and all of them have "Warhammer Support" sections...i cry.

Absolutely in the same mucky boat as you guys and i'm trying to not get angry about it, just playing Hellgate London and working on characters there.

I'm stuck at the authentication thing, did my codes to play a day early and that didn't work, didn't get the email confirm, i went with the downloaded version from EA store which works like a dream for Hellgate London.

I had the game already installed and had my master account from playing closed beta but i've yet to get an email confirmation and my codes didn't get me past the patcher. 

Well if this is how it's going to be i guess i'm playing Hellgate London, and NWN 2 or then Dragon Age. 

I did the customer service thing and am waiting like others for any kind of email response as to what's what.

Hope this isn't a sign of a crappy start for their launch.

I had a account where i tried to get into beta with, i didn't get into beta, but bought the game today, registered the game using the code link said it was all cool, not recieved any email and its been about 20 mins now and can't log in to the patcher either. I tried making a new account too but not got an authenication email on that one. So confused on wat to do, I wanna play and don't want to wait like a week or watever before I can play a game, I bought it today I wanna play it now!

Weird that the login thing is greyed out on the website tho, why have that greyed out so we can't update our accounts that way?

I just got finished downloading the game to my computer, and at the end, it asked if I wanted to download the EA Download Manager. I clicked yes, and it downloaded. It asked me to log-in with an email address and PW. I have a Master Account and a WAR account, but not an EA account. Are they all the same thing? If so, then how come it won't take my email address and PW that I created for WAR? Also, is there not a WAR patcher or is the EA download manager the only way to patch the game?

Nevermind, I went into my Program Files and found the WAR patcher. It is patching as we speak.

It's broken for me too, but I found that if you just press "CODE" in the left side menu without logging in you can still register your cd-key, but it'll probably not work unless you have an account (but perhaps that can be done without logging in as well?).

Just a tip for anyone with problems.

no !

you can type in your account pw and cd key but there is no next or finish or send or any other button to submit the form. at  least for me.

i found no way to register my code. unprofessional ....

Same problem. I have an EA master account and went to the account management page. I merrily put my card details in and hey presto - I now have a month of playing DAOC. I am trying very hard not to get angry and I have gone via the help form on the homepage.

There does not appear to be any way to manage the WAR account at all

I have taken the day off work, and now I can't play. Back to WOW I suppose!

It would probably help if you all said whether you were in the states, or EU. I don't know why Mythic went with POS GOA. They must be stuck in a contract or something.

Some of our guys had issues in the states, but most didn't. Our EU guys are having way more issues than the NA guys in my guild.

For my beta account...the codes came up invalid. I logged into the master account I created during closed beta, and it said my codes were invalid. I took all the spaces and dashes out, and they worked. I've been playing with no issue what so ever.

P.S. I would never, ever, ever never, ever in a million years use the EA downloader for anything! What a POS!

Order a box or use D2D.

I have the same problem too. I just installed the game and opened the patcher. When I enter my account information it just says "authentification failed" . Btw do I have to create a master account (https://accounts.eamythic.com/)? I tried that but when I had to enter the code for WAR it said it was invalid all over. I tried many times and no, no, no. It didn't want to let it through. So now I'm stuck and I really want to play.

Nvm, I noticed that I had forgotten to verify my account. It's patching now. I can't wait to play!
