I just got home from work with my copy of the game and now that I have installed the game I have to download an 800 mb patch at like 1kb/s anyone else trying to patch at the moment and have ridiciosly low speeds?

I do, and I've seen other threads about it, and my friend also have the same issue.

Playing: Xbox360.
Played: NC, WoW, EvE, WAR, LOTRO.
Waiting: Dust 514, SW:TOR, Infinity:TQFE, et al.

I can safely say this is the slowest patcher for an online game I've experienced. Makes me quite angry. I'm happy if it's done by tomorow evening, but I don't count on it.

Might just be launch traffic, it's been my experience that patches usually d/l pretty fast.

Since it's a P2P solution downloading should be faster the more ppl are trying to...

I've not had any patching or login slow downs...its launch day though i suspect no matter how much you pay for it there's going to be some slow down if people DIdn't Keep their OB client.

done all the patches (in the uk) in about an hour, for me and my sons pc, really fast for us.

Wish it was the same for me. Sitting on a 16mb/s line, been patching for 4.5h now, only 17% done. I guess I'll have to wait til saturday to play>.<
