www.gameinformer.com/Magazine/ Gameinformer scored a major exclusive about STO. Way to go! I personally like PC Gamer, but I will buy their October issue. If you read the article please add your two cents worth. 10 pages of exclusive art and information about Star Trek Online. Sounds like the game will be released about the same time as Guild Wars 2. Ouch. Hate playing two MMOs at the same time.

Let me know how the 10 pages are, if its worth buying or is it just a reprint of all the info / pictures already released online. |

it really is worth the money :D there are alot of new screenshots, detailed articles on character creation aswell as ship customisation (those Pretzel looking ships are actually a customized varient of the Bulldog class (PE's ship in their first space shot)

Conservativism is like an STD, it is fun to screw everybody, but then you eventually get burned. |
I still rather not buy it. I would read it for free, but I ain't going to buy it.

There's a formula for everything, even famous quotes. |
Well my subscription only cost $10 for a full year's worth of issues. If you're too cheap to spend that a year on a good source of gaming news, then you probably resent even having to pay for your internet connection. |

Due to real life commitments I couldn’t get the Gameinformer till tonight. grrrrrrrrrr I have to say the backdrops on the most of the pics were well done. Like the building with a lush floral surrounding on page 53. Although I still am not excited about the cartoonish Characters. That could change a little I guess. One thing I am looking forward to is the ancient treat to the universe mentioned. Glad to know that STO will be more than Federation vs. the Klingons Empire. No info on this treat. PS: There really wasn’t anything new in the article that you can’t find on the net. BUT....still worth getting the mag in my opinion. |

I got this as part of my subscription and I liked the article very much. Haven't really followed this game at all, but it has definitely now caught my eye. |

I was happy the cover was STO this month, but I actually put off reading it for a day or two because I thought it would be a re-hash of that convention video and trailer. I was actually pleasantly suprised by some of the in-depth info they dug up. I especially enjoyed reading more about how the crew system works and have to honestly say I think they chose the absolutel best way to handle ship crews. I'd love to be a part of an all player crew, but with techonology as it is now, I am greatly looking forward to handpicking my main bridge crew and even almost getting to know them. I especially like the part about the non-bridge crew being able to die resulting in slower ship repairs or weapon recharges and such.

Fear not fanbois, we are not trolls, let's take off your tin foil hat and learn what VAPORWARE is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaporware "Vaporware is a term used to describe a software or hardware product that is announced by a developer well in advance of release, but which then fails to emerge after having well exceeded the period of development time that was initially claimed or would normally be expected for the development cycle of a similar product." |

I went out and bought it I thought it was a great article especially hearing that they could be so far along in 09 it was worth it just to hear that. I am really feeling the "race creator" though it still confuses me as to how they won't have Vulcans in at launch since that will probably be the number one player created race *shrugs* I am curious to see more of how they plan on running the "economy" in game but overall I was impressed and certainly am still anxiously looking forward to the games release. |
