Can't say better than that really. This game is just a really fun way of spending too much time in front of a PC.

Loads of random mayhem, and the RvR PVP works excellently. Those who tell you its all zerg are  wrong. There is a large amount of skirmishing - and I gotta say, the core server has been surprisingly great... even in the non RVR areas there is, in fact, plenty of fighting. People are always getting tagged for one reason and another.. and there is lots of fun to be had roaming around picking fights with them if that's your fancy.

The three realms all have different character both in looks and in gameplay, with very different terrains and battlefield layouts. Some are a little more separated in terms of the two sides activities; some weave them more effectively.

All the classes have character... and while this is not world shaking graphics, it does the job.

Combat feels well paced. Lots of micromanagement in the fights if you want it, but most of all its about rolling with a team and gaining the initiatve.

There are many games here - traditional pve, public quest pve, rvr, random pvp skirmishes, battlegrounds. Crafting is more interesting than given credit for, but still only two professions. Its all I need, tbh, scavenging  plus potion making is fine for me.

Various ways of fiddling with your char - tactics, masteries and you can build up 'influence' in certain areas to get their rewards.. as well as boss drops, and the ocassional random mob drops.

I have played many MMOs over the past few years. This one's a keeper. And the reason is, the pvp is lively, fun and meaningful. No other game I have played in recent years does it so well, IMO. (Though I wont try to compete with the Eve crowd... I haven't played that)

I agree game is amazingly fun.

You can really play this game like you feel like. Want to solo? There is loads of quest. Group? Loads of PQs. PvP its going on everywhere all the time.

PvP is about who can cooperate and fight as a unit. Know your role and trust your team mates and you have a good chance to win. Game is really well balanced. Every time we have lost we also agreed it wasnt because they other side were overpowered, it was because they played better than us (playing order btw).

Agree.  It's been a fun last month playing WAR, and it's even better now that all my characters aren't getting destroyed.  =D

I am also enjoying the game and what it has to offer, ive been taking my time lvling my PQ bars all the way up and doing every quest i come across on top of trying to keep my reknown and pve levels about even, I also think this is one of the best pvp games out there. I cant wait till later on to start doing city battles etc.

Great game for sure so far.  Just the tier1 pvp content feels like more than wow has altogether.  Hopefully the patches remain positive and the game continues on this very steep upwards trend for a long time to come.

Everyone loved AoC in first two week after release too. User rating on mmorpg.com used to be 9.0 in June.

Yes but AoC had no PVP which left players with nothing to do but gettting character after character to 80. That gets old fast (i did it in Tabula Rasa) and I am glad that WAR is full of things to do

Have you even played the game? There was only ganking and griefing  and if that's pvp to you i suggest you find a spider and pull it's legs off one at a time. you'll probably like it
