My dog ate your homework.

Just to pip in on the subject of asians and asian culture in general.

IMO War has a huge potential there because it emphasizes social play which appeals more to asian sense of "togethereness". PvP and competition, especially group vs group will have a huge appeal as well. IMO, psychologically WAR's basic premise is closer to asian (all-together-now) than western (me-me-me!) culture.

The only thing that is, maybe, going against WAR in asian markets is the graphic direction which is quite subdued in colors and general cartoonyshness. Asian art never shirked away from stylizations and grotesque or got hung on "realism" (thats' one of the legacies of renaissance)  We'll see how it'll pan out once it goes live in asia.

Well keep an eye on those WAR servers a few days after launch.
Because both in open Beta and in pre-launch, the servers were far from FULL after 2 days of play after an initial player explosion.

The game is far from being a MMORPG. It's counterstrike with a twist. It's as far from WoW as TF2 is IMO.Good for some days of playing, but WAR is about to break the record of fastest boring MMORPG ever.

------

Real PvP?--> Ice blocking a charging warrior, give him the finger and mount. ---> Or mind control that annoying healer and let him jump to his own death. Now, that's PvP.
Every WAR copy sold is free publicity for WotLK.

So many people are saying this topic is about WAR destroying WoW, that is not true and I never mentioned that in any of my posts.  Please don't make stuff up. :P

WOW - my mistake. But then 99% of the worlds population dont use the stupid American date format.

Well, your mistake AGAIN.

US pop ~ 300M

World pop ~ 6.6T

US has around 4.5% of the world population. Can you look things up in google and do division?

lol, what is wrong with your english?

Each nation has only 1 population. US is only 1 out of 100 nation + There are actually more than 100 nations in the world.  More than 100 people, nationalities, population type exists!

You must be in Europe, becuase the NA servers were packed all through OB and didn't drop off til CE headstart.  And now that pre-order headstart is up, they are filling once again.

That's odd because in EU half of the servers are even LOW on both populations.

And in the WAR forums people say that only 4 were full yesterday (have a look in that forum).

Now for something completely new I learned: apparently one side on a server is already marked FULL with 500 people playing.
So ... is that to avoid (the already mentioned) famous server lag ?

Due to the whole GOA screw-up, many EU players bought NA clients and play on the U.S. servers.
