I am from England, and i'm not trying to be offensive here.

but if we went to there country and asked for English law, it wouldent be accepted.

so I dont know why it should be accepted over here.

I hope it isnt accepted. because then i'm moving from the country I once called England.

I missed the part where we tried to ban there festive holiday

They tried to ban christmas then they tried to rename it.

England was, once upon a time, THE super-power country of the world.  People started leaving in droves for "The New World" because the way the King (aka the government) was treating it's people.   If the King had taken better care of them, England would have maintained control over "The New World" and would still be the super-power country today.

Here we are again, hundred of years later, and they still don't get it.  Hitler was way too direct by bombing the crap out of them.   He figured out too late what today's radicals know....slowly infiltrate, then divide and conquer.  The new terror is more aloof....preying on our consciences, our kindness and our sympathy.  By the time the English figure out what's REALLY happening, it will be too late.

And, might I add, President Bush KNOWS this.  He KNOWS there is a real threat from the Islamic countries of the world.  The liberal-media downplays it or doesn't speak of it at all, playing right into their hands.  If the Republicans remain in office, I feel confident they will continue to watch this threat for the sake of all Americans.  But if the Democrats win the next election, I feel they will take this country toward the same way England has.  And before WE know what's happening, it will be too late for us too.

I agree with what you said Lisa, It makes alot of sence alough I dont think its too late I just dont think we will do anything about it and let them walk all over us like a welcome matt where as we could simply turn around and say no. Its sad for me to say that because alough im not the most patriotic person in the world, I do like my country.

I like my country too, but am saddened by the way some people treat the country with such disregard.  Their fears have them convinced that their freedoms will be taken away if Republicans stay in office.  They are so afraid that the government will FORCE them to do something...anything.... they don't want to do.  Force them to be "Christians", or force them to have a baby if abortion is outlawed, or force them to whatever {insert irrational fear here}. 

The Democrats and Liberal-Media have people convinced that these freedoms will be taken away because, as they say, "that's what we did to Iraq."   We didn't go to Iraq to 'turn everyone into Christians'.  They KNOW this but the lies continue just the same.  And people are buying every bit of this horseshit that is offered to them. 

Let people from other countries come live here.  BUT, they must live by OUR laws and learn to speak OUR language.  And if in doing so, this goes against their religion or beliefs, then "sorry you cannot stay but I hear there is still room available in your country of origin.  have a nice flight."

The only true problem I see is that common sense has gone out the window.  

My mother was right.  Common sense is not very common at all.

When England was "the" superpower, people weren't leaving droves for the new world. They left in droves for the new world hundreds of years before it became a super power.

And the reason they left is because the King said we will kill you if you have a different religion to us. (That's why your country is populated with all those christian radicals). And then he proceeded to do so.

They fled to escape religious intolerance. A genocide.

At about this time Europe did the same during the inquisition and their radicals and extremists went to the new world too. Again it was that or be murdered.

And there they all live to this day preaching their hellfire, damnation, intolerance and crusades.

England wasn't able to maintain it's control over the new world any more than America will maintain it's hold over the Pacific.

In the end, some people are going to grow too strong for you to hold dominion over. America isn't losing it's grip on the pacific because the American people have been infiltrated or have become weak or divided, they are losing their grip because the Chinese have become strong and because the economic advantage they gained from the destruction of the entire world's industry base in WW2 has now ended. Because that time in history where events all conspired to make you the greatest show on earth has expired.

Hitler, is a great example. He didn't allow his country  to be "infilitrated and divided" either. He put all the Jews in the oven. 

Oh yeah, we figured out what is happening alright. And it aint happening here.

We didn't bow to Hitler when he was bombing us, he didn't divide us, he united us. The Muslims terrorists aren't in hitlers league. No one is bowing to any threat so minor.  We won't be bowing to you either. You won't be dividing us,  you won't be infiltrating us or conquering us. We won't be turning on our own to sate your hatred.

If you want to wage a holy war on Muslims, I guess we'll just have to fall out with each other. Just like we fell out with Adolf.
