I doubt Mythic made this game for DAOC players... they woundn't have taken backwards steps since DAOC if it was the case. Well they didnt' make it for Traditional PvE Dungeon Raiders & Dungeon Runners like WoW so who the hell did Mythic make it for? ...curious isn't it? I mean..yea there's dungeons but there's no 24 to 40 man guild raid style ones except the King encounter which requires RvR to even get too...Im guessing they made it for RvR players not just DAoC players. |

The problem is that no one has really experienced endgame yet. SO by saying that there is nothing to do at endgame, well makes him look kind of like a troll. Once people start hitting endgame after release we all will know what endgame entails. Untill then, anyone saying they know what endgame is like is assuming they know. A non troll like thread regarding endgame would more or less be asking what people think regarding how endgame will be, not stating the reasons why endgame is lacking (eventhough the op has never played to endgame) Personally i have no idea how endgame is going to play out. |

They did open it up for mass testing with the large guild invites plus the already large beta test group. Just because you did not play it does not mean it did not exist. People who like to open beta test are just looking to play a game for free to see if they want to buy and care nothing for the bug finding thier really there for. The end game is not for the WoW guys who like large PvE raids and 40hrs a week of mind numbing 2v2 3v3 5v5 combat.
OP____If you are looking for a game where the Devs wait till alot of people get best pvp gear, just so they can trott out some new season of gear to make you start grinding again this game is not for you. I would suggest that you stick with WoW. This is a large group PvP game, wont be any arena gear grinding. But what you will find at end game is a challenging game of tug o war between 2 sides that takes skill and strat to acomplish on even server pops. If if you make it to ransack a main city you have to get in the city take it over and then the game gives you a set amount of time to acomplish a bunch of goals which will require large guild team work to do. If you manage to did it then you get a sshot at the KING. The explaintion you see in most writes make it seem alot easier than it sounds(TRUST ME |

not a fanboy. doubt i will even play it for atleast a few months after release. got better stuff in RL to do. but they said at the start this game would have very little crafting. so again ya cant really bitch about it to much. since they told you up front. but the stuff you can make is usefull on the battle field so whats the complaint? like i said this game is all about the rvr. next people will bitch they cant go fishing and bake birthday cakes. dude there are TONS of other games with all that type of stuff. just go play one of those and not bitch about a game thats not about such stuff an never pretended to be:P |

There are open world(non instanced) as well as instanced.

THe dungeons' wings are public as anyone that goes there sees everyone else thats there...The End Boss's how ever are 6 man Private Instances. Its just getting there thats public. The only instance that requires more than 6 people is the KIng Encounter..and he's not a Traditional Raid he's a Boss fight that anyone whos in a captured city can group and go too. There is no 'elite' content like WoW or EQ 1 / 2 are so famous for. |
