So if i understand this correctly, if i buy the game via direct2drive : After patching i'll get to play right away and not have to wait for the 18th right ? Anyone bought the game this way, did it went smoothly ? |

Yup I did had my codes within two minutes , registered had my confirmation from Mythic patched up my beta client and away I went have been playing all day since 9am this morning. Direct 2drive are extemley good IMO |

i was a first time buyer from d2d for WAR and it was fantastic. i had my codes and everything in the email in under 5 mins and i was downloading the game from their download manager in 3 mins. Its great place if you dont give a damn about CDs and stuff. Ill see u on the battlefield. |

hmmm, will you be able to play right now? isnt the direct2drive not a CE version? therefore you have to wait till tuesday i thought? i could be wrong. |

yes but im pretty sure he just dosent want to wait until the 18th. Meaning he and all of us preorders whom got codes will be playing tomorrow. |

I'm downloading for direct2drive now -- As I understand if we put in the codes we can play sept 15 -- do we to download the beta client or will the client i'm downloading from d2d work?

I'm not playing yet, there's a bloody wait time to downlaod the game and it keeps change, very frustrating I paid for the game and I have to wait before i can download

are you downloading the game using the download manager thing? the only time ive had wait times is when im downloading on fileplanet on the public download servers that usually have a queue to punish you for not subscribing |

Did you play in Beta? If you did then you dont need to download the full client again. |

I am thanking god right now for direct to drive and that is something else since im an atheist lol. Anyway I had originally preordered the game from ebgames here in town a few weeks back, they didnt have any code sin at the time. I am guessing from employees stealing them. They told me we will call you we should get more in soon. I wait till this past sunday and still nothing so I call them. They tell me they wont be getting any more in, so I ask about getting a refund so that i can buy somewhere that has a code. The guy on the phone sounds like this insults him or something and proceeds to tell me how I wont be able to get a code anyplace its not possible, he then proceds to tell me the code isnt even all that important that all they give you is beta access and that beta is over, I was like umm what about the in game item and the head start, he looked confused like he had no clue about those. I finally get my money back leave the store and within 30 min of getting home I have placed my pre order from direct to drive as well as already received my codes in my email. Thanks D2D I plan to use you in the future, im not sure If I will ever go back to ebgames.
