well the beta's here to all the naysayers... DF looks promising and it stinks i didnt find it sooner. but thanks to the people who did hype it so i could find it when i did! |

Like it or not Darkfall IS the second most discussed game on this forum right now. Only game that is being discussed more is WAR because of it's very near release date and because it warrants it. I may think WAR is just more of the same but I'd be the first to admit that at least it's very well done more of the same. There are at least 2 Darkfall threads in the Pub right now and about a half a dozen or so Darkfall inspired PvP threads. One of the Darkfall threads is 6 pages long and still growing. The hype for this game is growing by the day and will only get even more intense when Beta finally starts so all of you "I'm getting sick of hearing about Darkfall" people better get used to it as it's only going to get more wide-spread.

I first heard of Darkfall 2 years ago and it certainly caught my eye; I'm very excited to see that it's not only stayed above water but seems to be a pretty strong swimmer to boot. In a lot of respects DF reminds me of my old love EVE Online; if it's truly as open as EVE and the gameplay is solid then we just may have a winner on our hands. |

At all we don't have to wait for the hype. After release and the people see who man leaks and bugs War have, how stupid and boring WotlK is, they will seek out for something new. At all not a big mass of players have the enlightment to enjoy a sandbox, but those wo have could find at Darkfall their new home.
So waiting and than Hyping :) |
