I don''t have to know how to make a better game, I only need to know where the "CANCEL" button is! |

Disappointed? Yeah, but I'm not throwing in the towel yet. The first real test comes when retail box sales hit, the second after the initial 30 days comes to an end. Rabidly defending a game when it's in beta and free is easy. When Mythic expects people to start paying, that's where the flaws start to become glaringly obvious. Age of Conan proved that people will not continue to pay for an unfinished, unpolished product, no matter how much marketing hype you wrap it in. I put disappointed. It was fun when I first started my first character. But as it kept going on and on, I was getting more and more bored. Yeah there's PQ's, but after a while it got boring to me. In RvR it was fun, but I felt I was getting bored more and more as I played it. When you move to another tier, it's the same really as the previous, just looks different. There's just really no open exploration, which means once you reach the end it's just RvR. Just wasn't my cup of tea, but may be for others. |

After the nightmare we had with GOA ,I was able to log on Wednesday and then....WAAAGH.I knew(expecting) the game was going to be good but I was more than surprised to play a very stable fun game.During the last previous years we have been fed with buggy game but WAR is so fluid and fun. WAR has some bugs here and there but they are not that game breaking but all these minor issues will be dealt when the game goes live. The verdict is WAR is a blast In the land of Predators, the lion does not fear the jackals... |

WAR will occupy my time for a month or two, hopefully wotlk will be out by then. Take away WAR's rvr and you have a pretty !@#$& poor game. |

To be brutally honest mate the Scenarios in WAR work almost in an identical manner to WoW's Battlegrounds, with a few tweaks. The best tweak being the buff that levels your stats up so you have a fighting chance at lower levels - other MMOs should really use that idea as its a great one. Otherwise its almost the same thing.
I just got in the WOTLK beta this morning so have been reinstalling WoW and doing masses of patching. Its taken all day but im NEARLY there now. Last patch which has about 2 hours left, and finally I'll be able to directly compare the competition and see how its really panning out. |

How is all of this conjecture? We have plenty of evidence to state whether we like it or not. |

And if you take away WOW's pve your left with a pretty &$*(## game also. What's your point? WAR was made for RvR and WOW was made for PvE? You can't choose to take out the main part of a game and say it sucks if you took it away. |

Nope. The typical WoW player is a fanboi and doesn't usually check out other MMOs; why should he when he got WoW, the best game on the market!? Blizzard will maybe see a minor loss of players, but don't except anything major. |

That's exactly what it is. You aren't some superhero in your own story (which every player happens to have as their own story too), but rather you are a grunt in the army and the ongoing WAR. Distinguish yourself through your actions and deeds, not how fancy your weapons are compared to the next army grunt :] ---- |

Having a blast in WAR, but WoW has nothing to worry about. I can see WAR grabbing allot of ex-wow players, but there are allot of people who still enjoy playing WoW and are excited about WOTLK and I really don't see them jumping ship anytime soon.

I found the same thing. Granted I only got into Tier 2 on 3 characters but I found the areas are very clostrophobic and narrowly designed with a few areas heading off this way or that but extremely linear. Maybe for other races and in higher tiers things open up but if they are that closed in early on, I cant see it happening. It was like AoC Conall's Valley in beta x 2. |

I like the game but not the classes. Am trying to find a class I like before I lose the option to cancel my CE.

Where's the option for "Your account is bugged and cannot log on"

I'm really enjoying WAR. Also, just wanted to add something to those that don't think WAR has a chance of being huge ... You're forgetting the asian mmo market, where I think WAR is going to explode numbers wise. |

Almost blast, but some races dont have melee dps or ranged mage what can piss off some race fans. WAR dont beat WoW but its give better mass pvp and old WoW players who miss tarren mill times can get easy hooked to WAR. No arena shit in tis game, only tactic mass pvp. |

Pretty much my sentiments as well. Not a big PvPer either, but that is where I am having the most fun in this game. Most definitely in the open RvR, when there are a good number of people and everyone is really “into” it. It’s real blast. The scenarios are very fun as well, but I suspect and hope they get most interesting after you get out of the tier 1’s. I could see where running the same 3 could get boring after a while. However, I am looking forward to seeing how the upper levels ones play out, as well as sacking the final cities (is this open RvR or scenarios? I don’t know). Even though I prefer PvE, I still feel it is totally unnecessary in this game. This is not a PvE game, it’s almost like an annoyance actually. I know you can almost level exclusively by doing PvP only, but the PvE seems to force itself in there somehow. That’s really my biggest complaint so far. Sure there are still a lot of quest and graphical bugs, but during the open beta they seem to be cleaning them up patch after patch. I’m actually thinking about preordering myself now just to get the couple day head start. |
