Hello. My main char will be a witch hunter or an engineer,I am not sure what to pick,so help!
Which class is more FUN?The witch hunter is somewhat alike Van Helsing, heh that's cool, right? The dwarf engineer is like a terrorist, guns and big booms,so that's cool aye?
Also, please specify some pros and cons to justify your decision. Thanks! |

Somehow I knew in hell there would be mushrooms. |
Well it depends. The engineer is good at keeping the enemy at bay with turrets and grenades, the Witch Hunter is more for hit-and-run stealth ambushes. They both use guns, but the Engineer makes more noise in a battle. Anyway, you should choose based on their playstyles. Engineer - area denial, defense Witch Hunter - stealth ambushes |

Im going engineer for main and witch hunter for alt I think. Played a engineer to Rank 13 and wow totally loved it. In all PQ's i allmost always top the contribution chart. If you like to deal the pain at a distance and be tactical about where you deploy you should go engineer. If you wanna rush down enemy casters from the back and put them on fire and burn the heretics the witch hunters are excellent :D but if you get focused fired without any healing you wont last that long, you also get stealth at level 10 btw |

It's great fun to find a little bush or a gap between some rocks, set up your turret and blast em silly without they noticing you.... well at least for a while :p |

Out of all the classes i have played across both factions, my favourite without a doubt is the engineer. The sound eefects are really good, everybody knows when an engi opens up with his rifle *BOOM*. You also get deployable turrets (only ones i have used so far are the rapid fire one and the flame one) which are cool and really handy (they will also be getting a buff in the latest patch). You get grenades too which add to the tactical ability of this class. Like other people have said, the engi is more of a defensive class in RvR, i found myself far more effective when trying to keep the enemy at bay or pin them down than at attacking. All in all though i find this class really really fun and thats the main thing. |
