I was just wondering if anybody knew if any celebs, or famous people who play MMO's? I am betting that WoW must have some, especially since a whole episode of South Park was dedicated to the programme. I understand that Johnny Vegas (a large comedian from the UK) plays them, although I do not know which ones. Be interested to hear any anectdotes anyone might have about this.

A guy from The Killers is in my EQ2 guild. I thought it was BS, that was until I ended up with free concert tickets for xmas last year and access to a VIP party here in Los Angeles. True story. i play WoW! (im a celebrity in my own mind LOL) i think morgan webb host of the show "x-play" plays WoW (she always mentions in the show how she spends her free time on WoW) George W. Bush plays WoW. (thats where he gets his war strategies ^_^ raid iraq... raid afghanistan... raid north korea!) juzzzzz kidding

I heard a rumor that one time big wig mmo developer Richard Garriot plays a little known mmo called tabula rasa and supposedly he got a little to into and currently beliefs he is the true savior of mankind, even going as far as paying millions to go into space and dumping several useless pieces of information and DNA up there. The man is stark raving looney Don't know if you can run it? |

Marty Friedmen from Megadeath is in my guild. He played SWG with us for years, and is moving to war with us. He is a really cool laid back person.

One of the guys from Cannibal Corpse plays WoW... Youtube Interview here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cW_Lv0r-l4c I think Gary Coleman was quoted as being a WoW player, too. Several others... probably more that play that don't admit it.
