I want to play swg on my laptop, and was wondering anything that will let me do that, i don't need speed or anything i just want to work on crafting skills. and i think Hardware emulators are not illegal so ......

I don't understand what you're getting at. What do you want to emulate? Video card? Please, more detail... you don't make any sense. Unless your laptop is a piece of sh*t, then you shouldn't have any issues with playing.  A World of Warcraft Guild ICQ - 1229876 |

yes, my video card. It won't start because my video card is not right, do you know of a way to bypass this? like i just said i just need to be able to start the game and work on artisan skills.

I think I know what you mean. When I was beta testing SWG, I installed it on my son's computer But it wouldn't work. His video card, a TNT GeForce 2 doesn't support T&L Lightshading. Or something like that. I saw posts on the forum about people trying some kind of emu for that. I tried it with some success, but very little. The game ran but not good enough to play. It ran fine on my GeForce 4 thou.That was about a year and a half ago, so there may have been some improvments. Do a Google search. You may get lusky.

acatuly i played swg well on a laptop from beta all the way to publish 7 then for some reason no matter what i tried and tech support wouldn't boot up swg period i could play it on pc though, i do beleive lots of folks have troubles after patches epespcaily there with changes that come about you might try on swg tech forums to see if its at all possible but likely it just may not be possible its a major resouce hog funny thing the lap top still works perfectly well in other on line games just not swg .................. |

Are looking for a program that lets you manipulate the game without having to load it up? If so i think it would count as botting and there AFAIK there are no bots for SWG. Have you tried lowering game settings, especially turning off t&l? |
