you are looking at this game all wrong, you think it is trying to be a RPG. this game is simple, you make a character and are droped on a vertual table top video game version of this IP and fans of this IP will love this game and i can see this game having alot of WoW pvp players jump ship. |

I love the fact that there are so many customization options in WAR, as well as many ways to gain equipment and advance your character - none of which involve boring raiding for hours on end, if you can even muster up the necessary amount of people. Not to mention all the exploring opportunities. I was wandering around in Troll Country yesterday, unlocking parts of the map and seeing what was around. Nothing incredibly noteworthy for a while, until I came across an icy slope I could walk up. I walk up and enter a cave, and I got an achievement for entering "The Lair of Metoh", and no sooner did I see that, but I saw a level 40 Hero-type Yhetee. Though here, I just decided to walk up to him and see how much I got hot for, haha. 2883 damage I think it was. Also, I love Public Quests, but I wonder what they'll be like after launch in the fact that I'd be surprised if there's always enough people around to do them all. In beta, there's not, but there will hopefully be more people at launch, and I think people are rushing through to see certain things aside from them. RvR is awesome also. Though that's been talked about enough. And the leveling seems fine to me... there's only 40 levels, and I hit level 11 in a few days. Someone compared it to FFXI and they couldn't be more wrong. Anyway, thsi game should definitely keep me interested for quite a while. I can't wait to start up my Dwarf Ironbreaker and start my long journey toward busting through the gates of the Inevitable City. :D |

This is a very good comparison between WoW and WAR. It is simply amazing to see how much better WAR's starting levels are than WoW's even after all those years. In addition WAR at this moment has waaaaay much more content and playabilty than WoW had at release... and maybe even now - I'll make a judgement on that when I reach T4. The future is looking so bright right now I'll have to get me a new pair of darker shades. |

It's a game with a ton of potential? The same thing was said about AoC. |

It is going to be the best mmo on the market to date. It isn't to say the game still won't have flaws at launch but overall all there isn't going to be a better mmo. If you are tired of raiding, tired of grind and want something new to play then this game will be for you. The pvp is tons of fun and as much as people promote this game as a pvp game, the pve aspect of it is actually pretty good and fun. I still think there will be better mmos to come but for now I have my Warhammer and so glad it is here. The fun is back in mmos once again. Thanks Mythic ! |

If WoW is The Beatles, then BC is Yoko and WotLK is Mark David Chapman. |

Really? The PVE I've seen in the game so far is horrid. Its like watching grass grow or fighting in the original Matrix Online. |

Is the only modern RVR game, so is the best by definition. The only option to play RVR. And IMHO, RVR is more fun than PVE and PVP. |

You sir, have hit the proverbial nail on the head. This game will strive for that reason and that reason alone. To wank, or not to wank. The ultimate MMO sacrifice. |

I agree 100%! The RvR aspect really has me chomping at the bit. |
