Darkfall is a niche game being developed by a small, non-english speaking company... how can it possibly be expected to compete with WoW?

I love people who post doom and gloom threads. Let's wait and see how the game is after it has been out for a bit.

Listen up nerds/geeks... most mainstream players dont have a clue what or who GOA is, including me, and I visit these boards from time to time.

Since WoW, many new people have tried MMORPG's and have become fans of the genre and i believe WAR to be mainstream enough to get those sort of people interested as well.

WAR not failed its fine , GOA failed people dissapointed with Eu will go US anyway its too great game to miss it , and NO it will not be a WoW killer.

Of course it failed - anyone in sane mind would avoid GoA publishing and EU beta just proved that. Funny though that even AoC beta launch went more smooth than WAR. So yeah, it is just another niche game, who cares about US, they are smaller gaming market in the world anyways than Asia and Europe.

So much people are in denial about the state of this game, i dont see the need to post in an effort to convince other people not to play it however.

This thread should be closed immediately. The OP is whingeing about GAO registration for the Open Beta in Europe. The title of the thread is biased, unrepresentative and badly conceived. His comments do not reflect the quality of the beta version of Warhammer.

In fact most people who have had the opportunity to play beta in the US and Oceania are of the opinion that Warhammer is the best MMO to be released in over a decade.

If this game fails it is not because of Mythic I can almost assure that, it is because of EA-games, every ea-games related mmo i played has been cancelled, I am through with EA-games, I havent trusted them since earth and beyond, and the communities of the other mmo's they cancelled probably feel the same, look at the mmo graveyard on wiki, more than half the cancelled mmo's and vaporware are from ea-games, so sad mythic got tied up with these nitwits.

Na WaR is Doing great and going strong ,its still on track exactly as it was before, it had a little hickup with EU beta ( yes little) no aoc beta wasnt better  didnt have the beta access problems but it was still worse , sux for EU atm but hey its just beta , big deal  just hope they work it out for you before launch when you actualy need to worrie about it  .

As for america being smaller mmo market than other contries, ya right dont count the millions of gold sellers bro they dont count . WaR is fine and nothing close to how VG launched, and its still a big contender with wow , wow's 4 mill accounts isnt out of  reach( again dont count the 6 mill gold seller accounts/double accounts and millions of old cancled accounts they still add i there) , not like we would want it to get that popular anyway it would ruin the game in the end .

hehe poor wow , at least other companies can post actual sub numbers instead of posting a number including every account ever made in the games life active or not.

Trust me there is nothing 'little' about what's happening (or not happening as the case may be) with the Euro beta.

ya on my end its nothing couse i only hear about it on forums etc and everything is fine on my end , but i feel sorry for EU players who cant get i to try it , like i said have to hope they get it worked out for you guys before lauch .Im sure if my wife and i were in eu and having these problem we would be pretty pissed as well , maybe they will work the kinks out for you today.
