However, what I do have a problem with is people accusing the staff here of rigging anything and the fact that well over 50% of the regular darkfall members here have alternate accounts...which is a major infraction of the website here. If you want people to respect you, you need to act like everyone else in terms of courtesy and respect. And I know MANY of you have created alts because Im seeing the same damn IP pop up all the time with many of the members here....either that or groups of members share the same computer.

For several years I've been hearing the whispers of Darkfall. To my shame, I just registered today with the official forums and been reading hundreds of posts....I'M SOLD! I am so impressed with the degrees of freedoms this game will have to offer. Graphics, shmantics. It's content that lives on through the people. Heck! one of my favorite game of all time which I still PAY for is Anarchy Online. I'm not a big FFA PVP player but this game is on the edge and I want to be part of the history that this game will make. I don't know much about the company/producers, but I am glad they stuck it our with there dreams of creating this seemless word they will be sharing with us. On that note, I am HYPED! See you soon or my blade will!

If you knew that, then why aren't they banned already? Surely a power user like youself would have PMed that evidence to mods and gotten this all taken care of! And also, do you understand what the "Hype Meter" is supposed to represent? It doesn't say "Please give an objective rating of this game based on merit", it asks how YOU feel about the game. Hmm for an apparent expert on forumfallers, I would think you'd know by now that we look at every game without open PvP, seamless zones, looting and city building as being a 1 on our interest scale. So if a lot of people come over and hype the game and de-hype others, that is just based on how THEY feel, and completely valid. As for abuse, of course that should be taken care of. But I see a lot of talk from self declared MMORPG.com kings, and little official action. This leads me to believe that "Zomg forumfall alts!!" is just another scapegoat used to discredit Darkfall. I think that it is crazy some people go to the lengths to make seperate accounts to hype/Un-hype a game. I think DF looks simply amazing and that is the only reason i would ever invest the time to try to hype it in hopes that other players can at least discover it. I hope DF does hit #1 for the hypemeter and has a very successfull launch so people can experience a MMO that advances the genre in a positive way( Horay games where characters have the gameworld to make amazing things happen). I know people want it to fail but here is hoping that it doesn't and it can prove why it was so high on the hype o meter.

That would be valid if they didn't organize in masses and asked newcomers to do so. As it is right now, the "who cares about hype" attitude is hipocrisy, unless you step up on forumfall posting the same.

I can maybe understand if you think DF is the only game for you ever you give it a 10 but to give other games a 1 and leave comments like "looks a cool game but will give it 1 for the sake of DF"make no sense whatsoever. I could maybe understand if the DF gamers read a bit about other games then voted that would at least be something also,You can continue along these lines you guys have set yourself but at the end of the day you have come here just to hype DF to the top and dehype the other games regardless of what they are or indeed if you like the idea of it just so DF will be at the top of the hype meter...and BFD that is.....

I think it's because people that liked the skilled based game of UO over the same ole level system of all the new mmos are hyped for something refreshing. I want to get hyped but I haven't seen enough to get to that point so I will have to wait and play it before I get excited.
