Any of you sing at work? Usually when I'm in the back employee only room of our store I would sing with an invisible mic (that includes dance). Tonight I was just singing "I'll Be Missing You" by P Diddy (if you don't know in Rush Hour 2 Jackie Chan was bobbing his head to it in the car when he thought Carter was dead). So singing and dancing to that is fun but it sucks if you get caught cuz your really not showing off. That what you gotta do when bordem is around though. Any of yall do that stuff? -In memory of Laura "Taera" Genender. Passed away on Aug/13/08- |

I listen to my ipod at work, but since I'm a library worker, I can't exactly sing, it'd just be weird for everyone. However.. I have kinda bobbed my head along to a good song, gotta be careful when I do that, otherwise it makes you look like you were recruited through some sort of special aide policy, and should be wearing a helmet when you work. Anyway.. the only thing my voice is really good for is singing like Sinatra, and since I have neither interest nor any songs by Sinatra, I'm kinda missin out there. Edit: Heyy.. post #1000, it's about me looking like a retard when I listen to music.. eh.. still better than post #999, that was just weird. |

I love singing anywhere...but in the office, if its weekdays, I can't sing due to the fact that there are many people around...But, if weekends, ahihihihi I sing a lot, I browse the songs through the net and at the same time I open the copy of the song's lyrics so that I can sing along. |

As much as I want to sing....I can't really. I don't have the talent to sing so I'll hide that one. I don't want to get fired. |

Between calls at work(Inbound Call Center) I'll find myself humming or very quietly singing the chorus of whatever song is currently stuck in my head to pass the time. For a long long time it was "I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry. For the first week or two the song was popular I'd change the Sirius station as soon as I heard it come on, but once I listend all the way through I became hooked. Or maybe it was after seeing the video on Youtube...... Wow is she hot. She looks amazingly like Zooey Deschanel who easily falls into my top 5, but unfortunately Katy Perry seems to be somewhat of an air-head. But yeah, I dig that song and that video and especially that singer. I like Duffy's Mercy and Warwick Avenue too, but something is off about her.

Well, yeah, I can see where that would be an issue. Especially some of the quicktime cadences that are OK around the barracks but not so OK in the family housing areas. I used to call cadence in some of the units I served. Actual singing at work that was sanctioned and encouraged. Except in those family housing areas with the sleepyheads in the beds. CH, Jedi, Commando, Smuggler, BH, Scout, Doctor, Chef, BE...yeah, lots of SWG time invested. Once a denizen of Ahazi |

This about sums up my feelings of people singing at work. By the way, I don't agree with you that the relevant market here is health care. You're not regulating health care. You're regulating insurance. It's the insurance market that you're addressing and you're saying that some people who are not in it must be in it, and that's -- that's different from regulating in any manner commerce that already exists out there. - Scalia |

I sing at work when I work on the weekends. Luckily, we are just two in our shift and we can do pretty much whatever we want. |
