Forget WoW, forget WAR, forget Darkfall... Three words: Big Rigs Online. stellarstone.blogspot.com/2008/08/big-rigs-online.html (For those that don't know, the original 'Big Rigs: Over the road racing' was voted amongst the worst games ever. This would be very fun to play. Travel around the USA deliver and pickup goods. Make a living and drive some cool rigs. The similar game I played was 18 wheels of steel haulin, look it up it's a fun single player game. I use a PS2 controller when I played it on my PC with the usb adapter to allow console controllers. Red necks don't drive big rigs btw.
