So he doesn't like the graphics. Thats completely acceptable to me, since I could care less about graphics. Gameplay is where its at and graphics mean nothing in an MMO, such as AoC when you can't even get the game to function properly.

I agree 100% with Moroth, I was shocked at how old this game looked. I do not play warcraft but did try it out. (so no need to make comments, I broke my leg and my man told me to find something to play so I've been looking)  Females are not going to play this game, We need more then you men do. The toons are horrible, making them is horrible, the game looks like I am trying out one that is already 10 years old. Reminds me of when I tried out the Everquest demo 2 years ago. If AOC gets fixed then that would be my pick and I lost interest in that because of the PVP. Warhammer should have been so much better, obv it can be done so why does it look like that?!

You can throw around the insults all you want but all it does is make the fanboi community look just as bad an they do anywhere else.  Games are like chicks.... She may be great in bed but if she looks like shit you'll never find out.  Or in some of your cases you will.  I personally gotta have some visual attraction first, good for you if you don't.

After standing in the same place killing stuff over and over, with stiff animations, and latency issues, along with ugly graphics (some of the faces look like they were done with charcoal or pencils)..

Boredom kicked in, and I logged out...deleted the files (after taking 6 hours to patch) and then canceled my pre-order.

Why is the concept of this MMOs graphics style eluding some people? This is not a situation where you can have your cake and eat it to. You are not going to get AoC graphics in a massive PvP game of this type. It just can't work! And never mind the game play because we all know graphics>game play, right?

Looking at this pic, are you really suggesting this looks like a game of 10-years ago? High res textures aren't even in yet. Lighting and shadows are going to be tweaked. The texture blurring is still an issue but it's something Mythic openly recognizes as a problem and commented on getting it fixed. It's a beta!

I would say the graphics are pretty damn good considering they have to endure hundreds of people battling on screen at any given time. They are pretty much a more gritty Lotro, or what GW2 would look like. That seems pretty damn up to date graphics wise to me. And it for sure looks a hell of alot better than WoW.

I hate that some people will listen to 1 hour reviews like this that don't do the game justice and possibly not try it.
