So will this game ever come out for the US?? It looks like a very good game but it would be more fun if it was all in english.

maybe it will come out, maybe it wont, i think the real question is whether people on this forum have heard about DF. It will become a great MMORPG where anything is possible, and you dont half to worry about linear gameplay or "zones" which is what makes up for 99% of what huxley is. But to make my point valid, huxley just doesnt look that great, it took some good graphics, and basically downgraded what planetside "used to be" and made a game with fancier shooting and worse gameplay/amazingness. Its truly sad that any MMOFPS could be made like this after planetside came out. I guess unless planetside2 ever comes out, no MMOFPS will ever dethrone it.  too bad, oh well back to loving the possibilities being endless on darkfall.

Yup, that's the plan. End of this year or beginning of next through the ijji.com portal run by NHN USA.

I saw a lot of pics there, but realistically,do any of those back drops interact with players?Or are the buildings just there to fill in space?I see this all the time in cheap console games and even cheaply done PC games, but if they want respect from gamers that know what it takes, they better have done more work than making some squares and sticking a texture on it.

I want to see buildings with elevators/lifts /doors that open and close, there are many other subtle touches you can do,that don't even take a lot of work.I can teach a noob mapper how to make plain buildings fill in an area,in about 1 day.

I will back this game a long way, because i love the unreal engine, and i sort of like the ideas of Huxley, but if it looks like amateur developers put it together, then it hits the vapourware heap for me.The bulkiness of some of those player models ,look like they were actually ripped right from unrealT,with new textures pasted onto them,IDK maybe i'll give them some credit and assume they built those models themselves.

Okay, just to put this in perspective, you're a big Darkfall fan.

Talking about vaporware.

IRVINE, CALIF. – June 2, 2008 –It’s official.  NHN USA, a subsidiary of NHN (KOSDAQ:035420), the largest Korean Internet company, announced today that it has secured the rights to publish the long-awaited Huxley in North America and Western Europe. Bringing online gamers everywhere closer to the chance to exercise their fragging skills against thousands of other players in the first twitch-action massively multiplayer online first-person shooting (FPS) game Huxley, the online shooter is slated to arrive on the PC via ijji.com in late 2008.

The game itself is mostly in english, the ui is not. So i doubt it will be very hard to translate it, since it was designed to be sold in the usa. Webzen also uses a webstarter program like ijji.com does.

watch this VIDEO  at 2:00 there will be a tour of a city all the buildings are in english.

(ignoring the ui and names find one non english word)

Next time try asking when it will come out, you will get nicer replies.

I was watching that VIDEO. The city areas looks pretty cool and visually stunning. But...the game play, that kind of turned me off. It's almost just like Unreal Tournament, from weapon's effect, the jumping into the air moment,  to the maps. Don't get me wrong, I think UT is cool with all it's glories...but since this is an MMO, I would preferred that it was more like teambase gameplay...kind of like BF2-2142 and Planetside (or even Tribes2), with each person playing a role in their team or squad...but with Huxley graphic and settings. Or maybe it is, I couldn't tell from watching the video.

Kind of disappointing actually, after a long wait for it.

Don't think UI localisation should be a problem technically . Given it would make the game playable for non koreans!
