The UI in WAR is very nice too, when you get a quest you just press M to look on the map, and there will be a red circle where you have to kill monsters for quests, this is just one example of the numerious nice UI stuff So 10000 x better UI than Wow (without addons)

Those screens definatly does not have more then 2x AA. And in PW, wasnt the graphics at balanced no matter one settings you put it at?

Well when you take a good look then you will see AA is simply not working, not even with forced AA through nVidia Control Panel.

People already complain about it on the WarhammerAlliance forums about this.

I am really dissapointed as well that something simple as AA isn't working in a AAA game like WAR!

Come on people. We live in the year 2008! Something basic as Anti Aliasing should be pretty much standard these days.

aww was finding quests too hard for you??

im a big fan or WAR and WoW, and actually thats one thing that AoC and WAR did that killed some challenge/immersion.

of course that could get me started on a bunch of other things...but i wont go there atm

The people that dont like to invest time in finding the places, will be able to track the quest.

That's what half the trolls say, it's quite funny. You're right, if you don't like something and Mythic gives you the option to turn it off, do it! Don't complain that it's still there for OTHER people to USE and/or ENJOY...

For me, I like trying to find the quest things on my own (reading quest text, wtf?) But after 10-15 minutes, if I come up broke, I'll turn it on.

You can locate all kind of stuff on minimap with little dots, and you can give them different colors yourself...

I have to say that I am very much looking to giving the beta a try after seeing some of the latest screen shots.

I just hope that the EU beta doesn't have any problems when they switch on the reg page tomorrow

for most people though it should remove the need to constantly alt-tab to check thottbot.com

WAR looks very nice to me but i dont really have a problem with WoW's graphics, at least i can play WoW on my old laptop i have here with me on base. The side by side comparison photos did show a huge difference between the two so that means i need to buy another notebook that i will be able to play WAR on it because it's goin down on the 18th , thx for the screenshots from u guys

I play up closer than that right now in WoW even when I do PvP and I do just fine.  I dont like high up angles I like to be in the action.  I just mouse look and I can see everything fine.... But I'll have to see how this works in WAR it may or may not.
