Awesome videos. I love the look of Aion and I will play just to experience it's world. The release of Aion is not getting the buzz of the other new MMORPGs, perhaps because it is an Americanized rerelease of a an asian game. It's also likely that there are just too many games releasing in October 2008. Still NCSoft should fire up a better buzz machine. I am looking forward to spreading my wings in Aion. |

Regardless of what Amazon says, the game isnt releasing in october's 30th (at least not in US/EU) there will be between 4 to 6 months of difference between Korean's release and German/French/English ones, and the game hasnt released in korea yet ^^
Just wanted to clarify why the hype machine hasnt started as strong yet, even tho it's already noticeable with the presence in GC and PaX this year.

Is there gonna be 2 versions, a US Version with US - Servers and a EU Version with EU-Servers only? I really wouldn't like this.. I live in Europe but hate getting Europe-Versions... |

I guess there will be ways for you to get the American version of the game, but yeah, the game will have European servers and American servers.

As pointed out in this thread, the release date mentioned on Amazon for Aion is incorrect. Aion is slated for a 2009 release in North America and Europe. In regards to server restrictions based on the region (NA/EU) the game is purchased in, a decision in that regard has not been made yet. When a decision has been reached (as with any major Aion news such as release dates), the best place to go for information is the official Aion website.
