AoC's pretty awful. If you shot my dog, I'd recommend this game to you as the ultimate act of revenge. After Anarchy Online, you'd think that Funcom would understand that completely botching an MMO's release is analogous to not catching a baby as it is expelled from its mother's shamecave, but no. Perhaps they need to fuck up a third MMO title's release before the lesson sinks into their indescribably dense skulls.

I'm sorry, but I seriously doubt I'd go back to AoC as long as it's under Funcom's control.  They are hands down the worst MMO company I've ever given money to.  Between the lies and the incompetence, there's no way I'll be supporting that company in the future.

BTW, while reading your post, I got the impression that you are trying to convince yourself that AoC is a great game.  It's not.  Sorry.

It is a bad game, and there are no excuses to save it. The "patch" to save it already passed its time (they claimed June right?) The game is just not worth playing.

DX 10 client not aviable but is in fact on the box.

there is a fine line between  being tolerant of bugs. its like putting your head in the sand pretending a lion isnt bout to jump on you. your still going to get bit on the ass irregardless if you acknowledge it or not.

While I do think your complaint about the Graphic bugs is a little over stated, since the graphics in Aoc are pretty much top notch, I will add some to your nearly complete list.

Worst MMORPG community I have ever seen in any game to date. AoC really needed a asshat cleaning or some tone other then "Urg sex and gore guud! LAWLZ " set.

Listen, the point isn't what they are doing NOW.  The point is how they lied to their customers about what content and systems would be in the game at launch.

They CONNED their customers by highly polishing the entry levels <Tortage> to the game, knowing that gaming sites would only have the time to review on this content.

They were very clever and manipulative.  After level 20 their game sucks.  There is little content, the PvP system doesn't exist and high level sieging is broken.

The criticism levelled at Funcom is more than warranted, and anybody considering purchasing this game is entitled to know the truth.  They are entitled to know that this company will LIE and CHEAT to get your money.  They will promise the earth and they will deliver nothing.  They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

I will never buy a Failcom product again...

After what Funcom has done to the community I will not play AoC again if all other MMO's shut down and thats the only one left to play. Continual lies from a company to its consumers is completely uncalled for as well as their dishonest maketing.

I did not buy AoC in May to get the features listed on the box in 2009 or sign up to be an investor in a game in development.

Features listed on the box are not in the game. PVP features are still NOT in the game after three months of gameplay. The forums are a joke and their moderators are like nazis on crack.

A game's subscription numbers are not a measure of a game's goodness. Look at WoW. 10 million subs, and yet Funcom's developers make fun of WoW every chance they get. If you're using sub numbers as proof of anything, then you should go play WoW.

WAR is childish? Why, because it doesn't have tits? Because they actually went the route of making a high fantasy game instead of  a "realistic" game? AoC is not realistic. People can shoot spells at each other, heal each other, etc. Just like in real life!

To the OP:  I dont even really know where to start with your post. 

You don't back up any of your claims, like uh, why is AOC the best? 

What do you mean it's different now then at release, if you mean it has less players, and possibly MORE things broken then I agree with you on that!

I wanted AOC to work, I played to lvl 80 on Doomsayer(pvp) server and I have never been more disipointed in such a hyped game.  I canceled my account about a week ago, my server had become nothing more then a ghost town.  PvP was god awful, I would either get one shotted or I would one shot, there was no in between.  Raids were horrible and all builds were cookie cutterish.

Yes I am aware of the PvP system being implemented soon, that was promised like 3 months ago.  When I quit a week ago, most of my rangers skills STILL did not work right, if at all.

So please Mr. OP enlighten me, what is different now then at release?  to note I never had performance issues with AoC.

This is mmorpg.com, if you want hardcore regulated forms then just stick to the AoC one's, I personally like mmorpg because you get both sides, AoC forums are heavily moderated.  I personally wish I had listened to those post of the beta testers saying the game was crap, that way I would not have wasted so much time getting to level 80.

to your claim that most or all whiners are working for "other companies" is such a joke.  the game sucked from the get go and people were disipointed.  I dont know what country you come from, but in the U.S.A anyways if you sell crap to people expect a bad reputation and review.  Funcom sold crap to us and people generally are not happy wasteing time and money on something like that.  Your post makes me wonder if you work for Funcom.

WoW and WAR are shitty games because they have childish graphics and if i play AOC then I'm a smart and mature person.

AoC is very complex and you really need mad skills to play it because it has a pure genius combat unlike those childish WoW raids where you need no strategy for bosses or the WAR's RvR which is a zerg.

So remember, I play AOC so I'm mature and far superior than you.
