Loved the movie. Are there rewards? How do you win? Can one win?

I read the game overview and it sound's like you have to go where the game says to go is this true? If so, can you go alternate routes to get to the same goal?

Finally, and please no joking ; Can you character be molded to look exactly like arnold shwarzenneger?

Thanks ahead of time

The only way to find out if you'll like a game or not is to try it.  Although there are some serious things wrong with this game, there are people that like it and still play it.

I would personally say there are better MMO's out there now or coming soon, but if the lure is too much for you, I'd say go for it if you just can't stand it.

The worst thing that will happen is you will lose money, time, and move onto another game.

Have fun best of luck.

if you have any self respect you shouldn't play this game

funcom constantly lies to you, adds more bugs with patches, nerfs everything, and breaks the game after each patch

Give me 50 bucks, and I'll kick you in the nuts.

You will get the same effect but the pain will be shorter.

Why play this restrictive piece of crap when Fallen Earth and Darkfall are coming out in the near future.  Those games actually offer freedom, choice, and risk/reward.

Agreed. AoC was bland and the zones were claustrophobic. Such a waste of good graphics.

ok honestly heres the deal about aoc , it rocks and sucks at the same time truely the games first 20 levels on the island is fun but after level 30 you might start wondering whats up after 30 if you still like its for you if not then you will move on and stuff.

I played to level 40 and enjoyed it  but i got to missing everquest so went back to that.

Some lead and some follow I prefer to stand beside!

not to mention they took away any exploration by adding invisible walls

Dont waist your money on this yet. Seriously. When 98% of everyone here tells you its a bad idea, its usually is.

Wait another 6 to 9 months if you want to play it. If you play it now, you'll just be throwing 50 bucks in a trashcan

I've spent 2 months since buying this game just goofing around in Tortage (the start area) trying out the different character classes (there are 12 to choose from).

I've now picked a ranger character to go out and see what's there.

Whether there is a lack of high level content or not I've yet to find out, but I've had a blast so far - so for me, my money has been money well spent  :)

If you think you might like it - I'd say give it a try.

If anything is assumed to be other than bullshit, theres something wrong with the perspective.

If you value honesty, then dont buy Age of Conan. Funcom (the game producer) lies to you, and try to cover up their lies the whole time. Also you cant expect to get much help, since most of the mails you will be sending will get you no other than automatic response. Also if you see any glitch/bugs in game, dont assume you will be heard. Communication is crap. Theres also a credit card thing, where Funcom subscibe you for 1 extra month without your knowing.. so your money is not safe either

Relaxating.

These days the general consensus is that the game doesn't have enough content to justify a continued subscription at the moment. I, like many others, will be giving Funcom 6 months or so to get a few of its basics sorted out before I go back for another look. Having said that I did have a lot of fun playing, and love many aspects of the game. It's tough going back to less dynamic and visually stunning MMO games after playing Conan, that's for sure, which obviously is a plus in its favour (in my opinion of course).

Be aware that the game requires some pretty hefty specs on your PC to be able to run it at a decent graphic quality with enough of a framerate to be able to enjojy and be competitive in combat. Make sure you meet the recommended specs (not just the minimum ones) or your enjoyment of the game will be severely hampered.

And no, you can't make a toon that looks exactly like Schwarzenegger.

Good one. Mentioning Arnold should have allerted more people to this trolling attempt.

Just in case: no you can't win, since there are no objectives, just like in other mmorpgs. The Tortage area is indeed linear, but actually it's the best part of the game. After that you don't have to go where the game says, but you will feel abandoned quickly because of it. And your character will not look like Arnold, no matter how hard you try. Wich is a positive I think.

I've played AOc since it was launched me and my Husband played together but we have both moved on.

AOc is not what its advertised to be. server popluation keeps falling. on all servers.

Funcom does not offer or allow Server character transfer at this time and form what they say they have no plans for it.

PVP sucks there is no risk/reward for it. and most of the PVP is level 80 people going around killing everyone level 20 up.

The classes are not balanced and Funcoms idea of fixing classes are to nerf them, They have nerfed classes every patch and will keep nerfing.

The next patch will have yet more nerfs to it. Healing sucks as its HOTs or heal over time.

AOC is horribley laggy it has majyor memory leaks it crashes alot. and gives out of memory errors alot. You will die alot do to crashes.

The PVE is not much better either. Funcom has buffed up the NPCS tohave more health and attack rating like they did an anarchy and keep nerfing defences and everything else making it extrmelly hard in PVE.

Graphice is all AOC got going for it.

In My oponion its not with playing you would be better offv taking your 50 dollars and taking a boyfriend or girlfriend out to dinner and a movie.

AOC May be good in a year or more form now but right now its not.

these are the ones i looking forward to now. Breaks my heart to leave AoC but gonna try WAR and wait for DK and FE. I think WAR will basically a fantasy version of Unreal Torny....jump in, have some pvp fun and leave. Dont think there will even be a RP server or much pve at all but AoC on the other hand has neither of them either, RP is resticted to taverns as you cant rp in the wilds while getting spawn camped and the pve is impossible cause the servers are dead.
