Lets see,inside ncsoft there is too much difference. Aion isn´t instanced like GW and TR is another kind of game although is obviously an MMO but something similar on request like aion (an open world >80%)  |

I believe the key words are: "instanced like Guild Wars" in which the game is 99% instanced. The OP didn't ask if Aion has instancing in general.
Unless game developers don't mind letting a bunch of campers and farmers inside public dungeons, you'll be seeing a lot of instancing.

In my opinion, Aion looks like a pretty kick-ass game. The graphics appear to be substantial and judging by other forum posts i've read its going to be one good game. It's free too ;) Although Aion looks good, i've heard the gameplay is poor so i'd look at it more on the net before you go and wast 3 Gigs of space on something that won't grab your attention. Oh, it's not like Guild Wars at all - but i do know for a fact it can be great fun at times. Have fun people - Oh yeah, play Archlord |

is it seamless? is it zoned? if zoned is it zoned like AoC or AO? i personally dont mind loading screens between zones but i dont like single location zone crossings like boarding a ship etc. I dont feed trolls, if you asked something and didnt get reply, well, this is the reply. |

a) Channeling on the starter area only when the game is released, channels removed after the initial rush. b) Loading screens when porting to one of the 3 main zones (Elysea, Asmodae and the abyss). Loading screens will only happen on instantaneous teleports, like in Lineage II. c) Small instanced dungeons for smaller guilds. d) Instancing during quest cutscenes and special storylines (you travel to the past, etc). The rest is completely seamless.

I don't realy know many of the details about it, the downloads were on our guild website, everyone seemed to get it to work except me. Anyways, the creator alone took up 3 gigs and we had someone who was playing in CBT3 who was complaining of the 20 gigs it took up.

ugh someone needs a decent hard drive :P new harddrives start at 500gig and well go well into the 1-2tb and 20gig is nothing on those drives Tranquility is recruiting, check the recruitment post on aionsource |

he's just asking if Aion is instanced like GW not if GW was made by Ncsoft and therefore that Aion will be instanced aswell. Don't start posting useless posts if they don't make sense.
