Sorry if anyone thought I was advertising a Game. But, wouldn't it be cool, if there was an mmo version of "the Reapers game" from "The World Ends With You" For those who are Unfamiliar with Twewy, this is "The Reapers Game" "The Reapers' Game is a competition that those who have died may take part in. Every potential is approached shortly after their passing and is presented the choice by the Reapers. Every contestant is called a Player and is given a Player Pin as a sign of their entry that lets them read the minds of every person not carrying a Player Pin or O-Pin, called "Scanning." Every Player must give up what they hold dearest to participate. They are also provided with pins that allow them to perform psychs, should they be talented enough to use them. Each Player must forge a pact with another Player to prevent Noise from attacking them and to use their psychs. Every Player pairing must then complete 7 days of missions, with every mission taking 1 day. Players are only able to stay awake for a certain amount of time every day. If a mission is completed by any Player pairing, all Players that survived pass. However, Players can be erased by Noise during missions. All of the Game's staff are Reapers. The Game is run by the Composer. The Composer of the Game determines all of its rules, which are what allows the Underground to exist. As such, the Composer controls the entire Underground's existance and composition. The Conductor works underneath the Composer, making sure that the Game runs smoothly within the rules. He is advised and served by the high-ranked Reaper officers. One of the officers is chosen to be the Game Master, whose duty is to both set the missions and ensure that as many Players as possible are erased to filter out the weak. Harriers work under the GM to erase Players by summoning Noise, while Support Reapers set up obstacles and resources for the Game." So pretty much, each day, you log-in to the game, a mission will appear, and if the mission is failed, all of the players lose. wouldn't it be awesome ~Manne |
