I think that MMO games with Open World will never have OMFG uber graphics you know. FPS games undoubtedly but MMO games where hundreds of thousands of players on one screen along with THE whole world. Yea graphics aren't gonna be improving over huge margins. The only reason why I am not getting WAR though is its very PvP based and the gameplay isn't my bag of chips. I have one serious comment that annoys me, I was watching a video of Greenskins vs Dwarves RvR Tier 4 scenario and was dissapointed when I saw 4 Greenskin what looked liked Tanks who couldn't kill a Empire Ranger. I just thought wtf it should take 4 tanks a whole 30 seconds to kill one single archer class hero. But that is only a thing that annoyed me its nothing big but seriously....................

If the OP doesn't like the WAR art style, then that's their opinion.  

But whining about the technology of the graphics is another thing.

MMORPGs graphics are always behind the FPS/RTS/RPG games at the time of their release.    That's the nature of their development.   MMORPGs take YEARS to make and MMORPGs have to deal with server lag issues that are orders of magnitude worse than ANY FPS so they simply CAN'T have an enormous graphic burden on them.   

Do you notice in all of these kind of threads the ONE THING they never bring up is an example of a MMORPG that was successfully released with the graphics that were equal to the other games at the time?     They keep whining for it and never realize, it-will-never-happen.   

You're right, but one clarification. The graphics aren't bad, the darkness is just not good to look at. When I heard this game is dark I was excited. Now that I've seen it, I hate it. But that won't keep me from playing the game.

What keeps me from even playing my elder beta account anymore is the sheer lack of cohesiveness in the combat. It feels quirky and lots of animations are horrible.

it's not the finally build. and if you don't like it go back to your level 40 shaman in conan. this guy is a troll look at his previous post. i didnt like about 95 percent of the games to the left of you in the "released game " section of mmorpg. do you see me go to each forum and whine about it. NOBODY CARES, are you that desparate for attention. get a life. no one is forcing you to like the game so why are you crying? the graphics are beautiful, only mmo that has better is conan and that game blows.

Keep in mind my specs are not that awesome, and the game does'nt have draw distance/shadow/lighting etc in beta.

if this is'nt enough to make you want to play, you should'nt. Cause honestly this game is for those Shadowbane or DAoC players who played for years and just want an upgrade to the PvP generation.

I will not play WAR for other reasons.  Its made by Mythic who made DAoC, the best game I ever played.  Mythic also destroyed the best game I ever played.  They milked my dollars on the very expansions that destroyed DAoC, and I had three accounts.  I am not falling for another Mythic game again, ever.

Your making your decision based off screenshots?  You seriously being that shallow? As you've probably heard many times.  The graphics were not enabled.  Everything was set to low but even than, It still blows me away that your basing it off a screenshot....

The Nda is lifted on everything up to the PW. Just not on  what is being tested right now on elder servers. CB had us testing plenty of Tier 4 RVR and is not NDA covered. Their is plenty of legit vids showing you king encounter , Capital raiding and tier 4 RvR. such as:

This game is about RvR. It's not a "shocker to many" . The game depends on RvR balance and having Higher level people able to help questing and rvr mess that up. Same with "Stopping at 12 to help friends and finish quests" . The people that would do that are a very small minority. Most would just stay there with their Twinks and dominate low levels making the RVR experience for them unfun.

Boohoo , you can't finish your quests. This ain't Questhammer , PVP balance is very important and I for one am happy they took drastic mesures. Plus if you are into that , Play core. you can finish anything you want unless it's pvp related. You can always unlock everything in a tier , but not everything if you swicth racial pairing all the time. It's called replay value. Gives you a fun experience playing with another caracter since you can try areas you didn't with your main and get different unlocks. if you could unlock everything on 1 caracter , it would be pretty lame and limited.

Eh, i suppose i was being to irrational when I said i wouldn't but it JUST for that reason. What i meant to get across is why couldn't they just up the graphics more than they are now? If i am going to be playing it for years, I want something pretty and original to look at.
