Why aren't there some non youtube videos from beta players? Some truely high res, non-edited videos. If there are link some, I'm tired of watching crappy youtube quality. It'll shut up these graphic trolls and give me something to watch.

Otherwise I agree with the above. There is nothing but picutres that are easily manipulated with angles and such to make them look better. People have even bee known to photoshop in sheen and color to make it look flawless.

frankly with an attitude like that, WAR could cure cancer and you would still complain that the box was the wrong colour.

I'm going to be honest with you.  I had no plans of playing this on my desktop (the one I built for AoC) on my 50 IN TV.  But, after looking at these screen shots..

HOLY HELL.

Well personally I am glad that I do not have to buy another brand new PC to run this game.  It seems like every time a new game comes out I'm buying a new video card or something to make it run smoother.

No, I'm not one to be over hyped nearly as much as so many people here are. Companies pull a lot of crap when it comes to games and promotions, players do as well to promote their favorite game as they are so engaged in it to a point of psychological disorders. We all know this, (have heard of the gamers comitting suicide, kidnapping other gamers they fall in love with, killing their infants over gaming) so I don't know why you think I'm having an attitude for not being hyped and thinking reasonable thoughts about things that have happened in the past. you claim that WAR has bad graphics, people punt out the tired old "its beta" line and then show you pictures, but your response is not "those are nice pictures, do you have any videos", its more like "these look shopped, i can tell from some of the pixels".

It has to be playable on 2004 technology, that was one of their objectives when making the game so that wow players don't have to upgrade their systems.

Can't expect it to have 2008 quality graphics, anyone who says it has is talking out of their posterior.

I have looked for them smart guy.  There aren't any.

Start showing these super secret enhanced gfx and animations what weren't available during the preview weekend, that looked like Nintendo.  All people can come up with now is "shut up, there's better" or telling people to go look for things that don't exist.

thre reason you should not buy is because ea-games craps on its fanbase and cancells mmo's regardless of the community, ea-games has closed 4 mmo's on its community, and has one vaporware to date, these frikkin turds have the worst mmo track record to date.

 It's a valid statement, and I can see how someone could still think Warhammer graphics sucked.

I personally left WoW a year and some ago.. Played AOC for a month or so... Seemingly been through a lot of MMO's, including Tabula Rasa (Don't try that one)..  Seeing games like Blade & Soul coming out of the woodwork, yes, this game can't hold a candle to it... But I didn't pre-order this game for that and I'm sure 99% of the rest of Warhammer customers didn't either. It's all about GamePlay. 

I would have taken this gentlemen's statements more seriously had he stated lack of End Game content, but seeing how that's not so (Shorter level cap, broadened End Game), I'm comfortable this is gonna give WoW a run for it's money.. As for people flaming, let them, they're gonna be either complaining because it doesn't look like Crysis, or it doesn't have Gnomes running around.  Opinions are opinions and I think as a newly found Warhammer Online community, we should offer a more enlightened view to people like them..

I think that MMO games with Open World will never have OMFG uber graphics you know. FPS games undoubtedly but MMO games where hundreds of thousands of players on one screen along with THE whole world. Yea graphics aren't gonna be improving over huge margins. The only reason why I am not getting WAR though is its very PvP based and the gameplay isn't my bag of chips. I have one serious comment that annoys me, I was watching a video of Greenskins vs Dwarves RvR Tier 4 scenario and was dissapointed when I saw 4 Greenskin what looked liked Tanks who couldn't kill a Empire Ranger. I just thought wtf it should take 4 tanks a whole 30 seconds to kill one single archer class hero. But that is only a thing that annoyed me its nothing big but seriously....................

If the OP doesn't like the WAR art style, then that's their opinion.  

But whining about the technology of the graphics is another thing.

MMORPGs graphics are always behind the FPS/RTS/RPG games at the time of their release.    That's the nature of their development.   MMORPGs take YEARS to make and MMORPGs have to deal with server lag issues that are orders of magnitude worse than ANY FPS so they simply CAN'T have an enormous graphic burden on them.   

Do you notice in all of these kind of threads the ONE THING they never bring up is an example of a MMORPG that was successfully released with the graphics that were equal to the other games at the time?     They keep whining for it and never realize, it-will-never-happen.   

You're right, but one clarification. The graphics aren't bad, the darkness is just not good to look at. When I heard this game is dark I was excited. Now that I've seen it, I hate it. But that won't keep me from playing the game.

What keeps me from even playing my elder beta account anymore is the sheer lack of cohesiveness in the combat. It feels quirky and lots of animations are horrible.

it's not the finally build. and if you don't like it go back to your level 40 shaman in conan. this guy is a troll look at his previous post. i didnt like about 95 percent of the games to the left of you in the "released game " section of mmorpg. do you see me go to each forum and whine about it. NOBODY CARES, are you that desparate for attention. get a life. no one is forcing you to like the game so why are you crying? the graphics are beautiful, only mmo that has better is conan and that game blows.

Keep in mind my specs are not that awesome, and the game does'nt have draw distance/shadow/lighting etc in beta.

if this is'nt enough to make you want to play, you should'nt. Cause honestly this game is for those Shadowbane or DAoC players who played for years and just want an upgrade to the PvP generation.

\And after playing AoC for my self graphics no longer means much to me since they managed to show just how much graphics is worth.. NOTHING without a good base game to place it on.
