please be sure to open the required ports (6881 to 6889, and 6969(TCP)) and/or add the downloader to the firewall allow list.

the downloaded files are being saved where the downloader is located (if the downloader is at C:\, then it will be saved at C:\wareuopenbeta).

NOTE FOR VISTA USERS: someone suggested running the downloder as admin, otherwise you MAY not be able to download. so if you have issues and you have vista, try to run it as admin.

NOTE FOR CURRENT BETA-TESTERS: "current beta testers will be able to patch their clients; no new download is needed if you already have one."

Hmm...  great news that GOA have got this available already..   that in itself bodes well..

not getting any downloading through the client tho..  :(

i'm presently downloading the EU open beta client at average 200kb/s

gonna take all night at least.

BTW- it's 10gigs for the install file and 12 gigs for the installation am i correct? So we need 22+gigs free right

the installed files may a bit more than 12gigs, as I read some beta testers said it was 13~15.

anyway, if anyone has a problem downloading they should check their connection. it seems no one is reporting any serious problems so far, just some download speed issues.

I pre-ordered from the EA store, and it said i get open beta access but i got no code.

you'll get your code within a few days. the OB EU download is only being made available now so that we can start beta testing straight away on the 6th-7th.

Also im not getting any download, all my ports and firewalls are open but nothing, just staying on 0 kbps

Havnt been in it, so cant wait till the beta opens up later on.
But at the moment its downloading at aprox 400 Kb/s. reached 460+ what I have seen.

It took a while before it started to download for me. It did check the files before it started to download. So you maybe just need to wait and see. ^^

where are you downloading the game from, shouldn't all pre-orders (EA store) be able to download?

I think that will do.
Since you have all firewalls and stuff open, it should be working.
Otherwise I am clueless.

But again, I think you just need to wait and let it work in its on pace.

right now the client is available for everyone from the main site, www.war-europe.com. EA store/D2D will give download access soon enough I guess.

got it now

by default it using the same folder from where u launched the downloader  exe file

You will see a folder called wareuopenbeta

I used Internet Explorer instead Mozilla Firefox and it worked fine after that.
