WAR (Warhammer Online)

So after making the decision to quite AoC for WAR, i went to my local EB to Pre-Order, thinking i will get access to the Open Beta when it starts in Sept, only to find out that they ran out of Codes and there is a waiting list 'incase' they receive more before launch.....

Way to go Mythic... already breaking promisses ala Funcom  :(

Gee, that kind of sounds like more of an issue with your local EB then Mythic.  Don't be such a drama queen.

Pre-order on Amazon.com and they will send you a beta code.

The wisest thing to do is purchase WAR over direct2drive.co.uk, you get open beta access as well and can download the game unlimited times.

e mail this guy. Same thing happened to me and within 2 days i got my codes. It isn t Mythic the guy told me there was a mess up on EBs part. Just explain you ordered etc, even type in some info on your receipt.

The local stores are notorious for running out of the codes. If you order on their website you will have the code within 48 hours.

BTW, it is not Mythic's fault if a store runs out of codes. Gamestop controls how many codes each store gets FYI.

I ordered from www.direct2drive.com and had my codes within 30 seconds.

Oh and by the way....

I feel like you may need to read up and understand the difference between a developer and a retailer, and the responsibilities that fall upon each one.  I think you may also need to read up about Mythic, and the developer interaction with the community so that you may understand why Mythic is the most interactive and informative developer that has ever graced the MMO genre.

This isn't Mythics fault. Just go online or if you're really wanting to pick it up in a store, look around at any given number of places that have Pre-order codes such as Best Buy, Target, etc.
