Hello,

I am interested in getting WAR, and I was wondering if anyone has any sort of info about the capacity of this game to be played by dual boxing 2 or more characters by having 2 or more accounts obviously. Has anyone tried it, I know it's hard to, because most testers have only 1 beta account, but maybe you tried it in the open event or with a friend's account or whatever.

Also do you know about Mythic's stance towards multi-boxers? All the other MMO companies are friendly to dual boxing, but you never know.

 Thank you very much.

"Tolerance is a sign of weakness."

And the buff-bot ideas start to appear..

Hope you don't play it.

I can at least tell you that all companies making a game love people getting 2 accounts, thats double their cash.

And while I havn't tried it (playing 2) I don't see a problem with it. Know a guy who play 4 schamans in wow, just have a bluetooth keyboard to all his comps and theyre have different fastkeyed spell the cast whenever he presses a key. If someone can have 4 wow chars you surely can have at least 2 war chars, it's not that big difference between the games.

It is off course a lot harder than playing 1 but you'll figure it out. :)

Does anyone else have any info about this without posting hate responses?

PS. To the Hensen poster: the multibox community has been around since the dawn of MMOs and frankly we really don't care about your petty statements, since we pay for our hardware and our accounts and make sure everything stays within the EULA of the game we play. If you think it's ez mode playing 2 or more characters at the same time, give it a shot, and you'll be surprised how challenging it is.

 Edit: Minor correction on syntax.

Edit: Thx Loke, that's what I thought to. Now concerning to multibox, you don't need multiple computers even, just a fairly good system and a large monitor (24+ inch is perfect). I dual boxed a guardian and an assassin in eq2 and a warrior and a paladin in wow, by running game instances at the same time in windowed mode on my computer and having them take each half of the screen. In WAR I am thinking of multi boxing a tank + healer because it sounds like a great combo, or 2 bright wizards or something like that

There is a war going on for your mind.

It's possible to multi-box WAR, but I can't really see you getting any benefit out of it.  Mythic's statement on macroing has been flat out, one button, one action.  So I think it'd probably be pretty prohibitively difficult to do any more than one or possibly two accounts.

Cover girl cutouts throw pop-ups ads infecting victims with silicone shrapnel. Postproduction debutants pursue you in Nascar chariots. They construct ransom letters from biblical passages and bleed mascara into the holy waters of minds. They flash logos and blast ghettos; their embroidered neckties say stop snitching. They shout at you, 'pay no attention to the man behind the barred curtain nor the craters beneath the draped flag, those hoods are there for your protection.’

Game hopping since 2003.

Why dont you post on warhammeralliance or call/email mythic? You're not going to get a straight answer in here. I'm sure 2boxing is really difficult. /follow. /spam heal-ally.

Hmmm, thnx for the info about the macros, didn't know that. But you don't really need them for multiboxing, you can use a key broadcasting software, since it is within the majority of MMOs' boundaries of EULA, hope for WAR too.

Follow doesn't work very well in WAR, so you'd probably end up have to control them both independently.  As I said, Mythic intentionally made muti boxing a pain in the rear in this game.  Plus their stance on macroing in genering makes it unfriendly to them.

Not at all worth doing in WAR.  You'd need to keep an eye on 2 characters in a fast paced environment, where healing is proactive and not reactive.

Also, terrain, movement, and tactics constantly change, it'd be impossible to do, and since a
