none? WAR doesn't have some crazy virus that infects your PC and uninstalls all your other MMOs. MMOs don't kill each other, even WoW didn't kill the MMOs that came before it, like Lineage2 and EVE. and if getting 10million subs won't kill other MMOs, then I guess the only way left is that crazy virus. Everything creates huge amounts of negativity on the internet, that's what the internet is for: Negativity, porn and lolcats. |

Games don't need to "kill" games. The community does a good enough job at that ..... |

I really don't care what games it "kills" as long as devs realize there's a market for PvP-based MMOs. Quality games, I don't mean the crappy Asian grinders or WoW Arena-style PvP. |

Dark Age of Camelot probably? As WAR is for many an improved PvP game and probably many DAoC players wills witch. UO maybe?
Depends if EA invests in those two games or just lets them run out. |

Originally posted by IKShadow Even if I didn't like WAR, I wouldn't touch AoC with a 10 foot pole. Unless Funcom does a complete 180, meaning: Their patches fix more than they break, and; The company stops being retarded. I hope people still play and pay for Age of Crap so that it can improve in maybe a year or two. It certainly has potential. You're right though, some people will not like WAR even if it releases relatively perfectly, but seeing as 85% of the reviews are overall positive, I think it'll be fine. |

i wasnt talking about really killing a game i mean like a large % of there players going to another losing most of there things like i think AoC players will leave once they find out how elite war is and then AoC dies :P kill the clowns O.o the damn clowns |

I would say AoC but Funcom are killing AoC at an alarming rate. |

Nope, the fanboys will still play that one. It won't sink until Funcom does and they're still sitting on some cash. |

WAR won't be killing my Fri/Sat nights out or the time spent at the gymn. But, WAR will prevent me from playing WoW for the next few months at the very least. I also won't be revisiting SWG, AoC, FFXI, EQ2, or CoX during that time. I don't know if WAR will = nail in coffin for any games, but I think a lot of people will take a break from their current MMO's to check it out. Much like what Blizz acknowledged for AoC. The difference, imho, is that more people will stay and play WAR, so there may be a bit more of a shift in the MMO landscape. I'm not saying it will dominate or take the king's crown, but I think it has a shot at really turning some heads and making some long term fans.

First of all, lets hope that war wount shoot its own foot first. Like AOCo*K did.
And it wount kill any mmorpgs, if ultima still alive, all mmorpgs will still be online |

Simply, stating that one MMO will kill another is pretty unwise. WoW has what 40 million subscribers? And still the smallest mmo's are staying up. If an mmo is killed, it's almost always because of itself. |
