The game is in BETA... There will be bugs, gameplay issues, ect... Over the weeks they will tweak everything and fix bugs.

All I see is how WoW is better than WAR, yadda yadda. Did you even play WoW in beta? The game was terrible in beta... AT release, WoW was so laggy, buggy, and since release, classes have been changed from good to bad to overpowered back to bad again.

WAR isn't even released yet, but it seems these preview weekend players know about the entire game. Were you in closed beta? Did you reach the level cap and experience ALL the content? 90% of the time I doubt it.

These negative reviews are just a few morons who can't let go of there previous game and need to post negative garbage on these forums.

In a nutshell, WAR is similar to DAoC... If you liked DAoC, you will love WAR. If you are coming from ANY other game, it will be COMPLETELY different to you. Controls, gameplay, EVERYTHING. SO don't judge it based on 2 days of gameplay. DAoC was a legendary game and WAR will follow in its footsteps.

That statement has actually been proven false on numerous MMOs. The later being AoC.  People said "chill, it's just beta" well, nothing happened from Beta to release.

Same went for Vanguard and dozens of other MMOs.

I like WAR too but I wouldnt necesssarily use the beta comment on it.

I hate war...but ive actually played it, and i dont actually care if anyone else plays it.

But i personally say you shouldnt listen to any reviews, good or bad, just use your own judgement on whether or not oyu want to play the game.  I sitll reccomend waiting a few weeks after launch before buying it however.

Not to mention about 8 out of 10 of the "reviews" here are made up. I'm noticing a lot of trolling by people with a long post history of being WoW or AoC fanboys.

Look man you can get off that beta excuse its way past time for that kinda crap.

And yes they should listen when they can wait for it and get it cheaper after its fixed.

Even stating its beta does not allow for WAR and AOC beta comparisions.  And I am not talking bugs, crashes, etc.... I am talking core game systems. In AOC, the basic/core systems felt broken; in WAR, they do not.

One of the things I loved were the surveys that Mythic randomly gave when you exited or logged out of the game. The questions covered a different set of topics but it at least made me feel that Mythic was interested in our feedback or our feelings on the game. With Age of Conan, I am not sure that I was EVER asked for my feedback.

Players of Mythic's games can tell you that they use the material they are given too. They use the feedback and are genuinely concerned and interested in what their playerbase has to say. This is one reason I am excited about the game and have faith in Mythic. I will admit I had misguided faith in Funcom and I learned my lesson. But being a DAOC player since launch, I can say that Mythic only upset me one time (TOA) but even they admit it was a mistake at this point.

Mythic is a great company and will do a great job and have done a great job with Warhammer. I am excited about the game and have not had this excitement towards a game since WOW's launch.

heh alot of people post that alot of games are very similiar when it comes to PvE, so wouldnt it be kinda true for a PvP game? If you pvp'ed in another game, the same could be said that it will be very very similiar to the pvp in War...?....hack and slash...hack and slash...die....rez.....hack and slash.....thats all that War has to offer?...
