Why do I try? Oh yeah it''s because I have nothing else to do...

I need to know if I should try this.  By looking at the screenshots to me it looks like a total grind.  Is it?  Also I'd like to know is their a lot of pets and mounts?  I like variety.  Very important-is their quests and what are they like?  Please if you can answer my questions I would be very grateful. I'm confused.
