so what is this a free trial?  The site says try for free with no mention of how long.

I really wanted to play this game, when i found out it existed, the problem was that it died shortly after.

I guess its back up, but im curious if this is a free account, a trial, gimped demo mode untill i subscribe.

Not sure how they plan to charge people...but I think this is just a demo mode until they get a billing system up. I'm not sure on this, but I think that they would probably let people know before they start charging instead of just kicking everyone out and charging without any word beforehand.

I'd be willing to bet that there's going to be free with limits but unlimited play time.   and non-free with all limits removed.

Pretty much the best way to get a player base, keep it growing with no investment on your part, and a strategy that eventually gets enough people paying.

Last I checked, there were over 700 new accounts remaining. IMO...probably whomever wants one can sign up, and the number remaining is just a gimmick.

It's not a gimmick. A couple days ago when I signed up, there were 250 sign-ups left. An hour later there were none, and making a new account was impossible. So I think the number is accurate and if people want to try it they should get it while they can. 683  left as of the time of this post.

It is not a "gimped demo mode", it is the full game. Until billing is set in place and a subscription model is determined, the game is free. So consider it one huge trial, more of a trial than any other game out there has ever provided. No boundaries, no chat or trade limits, no artificial caps.

As the previous poster said, this is the full game but it's free until there is some kind of subscription set in place. No one knows what that will be. Until then you get to play the full game for free.
