A few of my friends from my old highschool have gone vegetarian and have been trying to convince me to become one too. Well I do like meat, this video they sent me is just disgusting...and definitely putting me towards the vegetarian side of things. I can see why people don't eat meat. I hate seeing animals hurt in any way, so I dare not to much research on it (it sickens me too much) and I couldn't even see the whole video. Anyway, some of the things in the video are just plain demonic is the best word I can think of that happens at these places.

Dont care. We Used to Kill our own Chickens and clean them. I Personaly dont hunt But I Take pride in comeing from a family of Hunters. And any Stupid video your gana try and post ive seen first hand. Nasty yes But im not going down the foodchain for a Stupid pig or cow.

The dairy bit doesn't reflect all dairy farms.   My brother works and lives on a privately owned small dairy farm along with his children and wife in Ky (About 150 - 200 head).   His house is smack in the middle of the farm and must be an awsome experiance for his kids.  Hell I love it and I am not even a kid.  They get to help raise all different breeds of calves.   They also have plenty of room for the other critters like cats , dogs, a pond out back with huge bullfrogs.  Theres a cave with a natural spring.  

Anyways it is just him and the owners who work it.  Those cows are pretty well taken care of.   They keep a detailed record of each cow and a vet shows up on a regular basis to check them out.  The bull  lives like a king.  Well maybe queen since hes a big puss (scared of his own shadow).   No one messes with him and all he does is eat, sleep, and hump.  They worry about him though, he comes or trys to come into the milking palor pretty often.   The farm does not use eletric  prods, just fiber glass sticks. 

I would even say the "large modern" dairy farms are not all that bad. There clean as hell and the cows are checked out and cleaned each milking.  They shuffle a couple thousand head through on a non stop rotation for milking without humans influence.   Humans just clean inspect the udders and attach the milkers.  But yeah some of that crap should not be happening.

Yea videos like that usually get you the first or even the second time around...

It's cruel, but I still eat meat. I don't eat a whole lot of meat though, but that's not influenced by these type of videos at all; it's my own preference.

The video makes me think of mcdonalds haha...

I'm not opposed to eating animals, I don't think its unreasonable to wish they were free from abuse and healthy as opposed to  being beaten and malnourished before  being  served.

I'm hungry now.  fortunately lunch is in 15 minutes

If you followed any parent around long enough you could edit a video to make them look like bad parents.  If you followed a white person around long enough you could edit a video implying that they are racist.  My point is that you need to accept that this film is a piece of propaganda against the meat industry.

What do these animal lovers think is going to happen when the animals they are trying to save are no longer useful to us?

What will happen to the species of farm animals when humans no longer use them for consumption? 

Extinction.

What will happen when people have no use for the horse?

Extinction.

Dogs and cats are no longer kept as domestic animals?

Extinction.

Enjoy a hamburger/egg/bacon and take your dog for a walk or take part in the extinction of a species of animal.

Those videos are from European farms, probably 95% of that video is and here in the US we have quality standards and don't treat our animals with undo suffering like some of those men did. However the process is the about the same on slaughter and production and techniques. There is nothing sad about survival, for humans to survive we need to eat protein and to get eggs you have to unfortunately use those techniques to get the output you need to satisfy the millions of people who eat eggs and egg containing products.

The video wasn't sad to me cause I know the farm business and slaughtering. It isn't pretty but it is how things are done, except here in the US I never seen a single farm abuse animals with undue harm like some of the men did in these video clips.

Like the poster above me said you can follow parents around and get footage and cut it so it looks like child abuse and do the same for almost anything. To bad these animal lovers who do these kinds of websites don't think about human survival to much. We can't survive on lettuce alone.

People are so full of themselves.. animals need to die for food, all animals that have been preassigned as food have been destined to die. There is no animal cruelty, it is just some made up nonsense. Animals serve one purpose, and that is food, and that is all animals including birds cats and dogs. Now just because i wouldnt eat a cat or dog and certain birds, doesnt change that fact.
