SWG Publish 4 Jedi:Flurry: TKM unlock

I played VG beta and still have my preorder copy of vanguard "Never installed' since release, because i got caught up in a vacation and when i got back, i had lost interest, and on top of that, people where saying it was like a nuclear fallout of a failure... I am hearing much better things about vanguard right now. I am wondering from those who play, "With as little bias as possible please" How does the general community look at Vanguard in contrast to the ways people saw vanguard as when it was new? Is it a peice of coal turning into a diamond?

I've played since release.  The improvements have been enormous. I'd say it's about 75% of the way to a diamond.  Isle of Dawn will probably be out in 4-6 weeks, that would give you a no-risk, free look.  Otherwise, if you like a traditional and challenging MMORPG, VG's a damn good fit.

The Vanguard community that is left is by and large quite happy with the state of the game today. Check out the official Vanguard forums for your own evaluation.

Well, community is very very unhappy with the new models...

Such long wait for a weak and amateur result.

Didnt play beta so I came with a semi-biased negative tilting opinion based on others comments I trusted during its initial release way back when.  I am new to the game and after playing for about a month now I can tell you its pretty darn awesome.  It is turning into a diamond if it was as bad as they say it was at release cause right now I find it very playable with a LOT of stuff to do and very little in the way of bugs so far in my journey.  You will like it!

i bought vanguard last month or so. i would have to say that i didnt subscribe. after 30 days of playing the things that bug me the most were the emptiness of the areas, the game needs more geometry in it. the quest were horrible for the fact you had to roll on the quest items. the groups required six people, the drops were not 100%, and you had 15/15 collect and 20/20 collect for a total of 35 items. it was horrible, took me like 3, 4 hour session with multiple groups.  the performance was also a factor, the game was very unstable and i have a higher end system, framerates drop and stay for 10 mins, comes back up. just very poor and ugly. character design is lacking, and the new models look just as ugly.  it just feels generic and undone. i did recommend the game because it's only 4 bucks on ebay, so you cant go too wrong. but after 30 days i do not see why you would wanna pay more than you got the game for to continue. ireally am not trying to flame the game, it's just not me. it would be like me going to a grocery store and buying the generic brand of frosted corn, instead of kellogs frosted flakes with tony the tiger on it. vanguard has better gameplay than conan, so it's not as bad as AOC. warhammer is nuts(highly addicting and beutiful in all aspects), it is a polished title, like WOW and LOTRO.

I didn't subscribe because the systems we have are above the minimum system requirements yet we get 1-10 FPS on "Very High Performance".

Graphics is not on the top of the totem pole to me in MMORPGs.

So I'm waiting for WAR. It'll run on my system :)

1-2k USD (a new computer) to play an MMO is not worth it.

Are you shure that it will run on your system that gave you 1-10fps on "Very High Performance" or are you comparing running VG on your old system and running WAR on the new system.

I mean running war at 1-10fps is not any better then running VG on 1-10fps. And I doubt that you will get adequate better performance on WAR with a computer that ran VG on "Very High Perfomance" with 1-10fps.

I'm so broke.
I can't even pay attention.

There is actually more content then one dungeon and one quest(line).
