EVE is boring too, you might wanna skip it as well. Put WOW on that list while you're at it... and LOTRO, SWG, GW, CoX, or pretty much any MMO or game or hobby. You have my word that I have the ability to call anything boring and a waste of your time. EvE is actually one of the best MMO's that has been out in awhile.

I realize not everyone will like every game, but WAR needs to be put in its place and its not even close to EvE.

You now what i agree with you, this game feels like lord of the rings to me. I loved the pvp but that gets older faster than wow's pvp not sure why. I do love the the quest system in this game. And the book of tomb is pretty kool as well. Ah well it might just be me i am not going to put in on my cutting block just yet. Going to give it some more time to see if it can hold me until Aion comes out.

Why can't I go there with EVE or any other game? Someone somewhere thinks it's boring. It's actually one of the primary criticisms I've heard about EVE. I don't actually think so myself, but that's not the point at all.
 

Not being close to EVE is totally your opinion. IMO it's much better. OPINION.

And thats why I play mmorpg's... I'm giving my opinion because I wanted to play this game and I had high hopes for this game for like 2 f*cking years?

I remember a major complaint when I played DAoC was that the fights were over too quickly. Then I played WOW... If the fights take a while and allow for more ebb and flow in pitched battles then I'm all for "slow". I prefer epic fights over pwnage by either side. Keep it the way it is and let's see how it plays out once people figure out that WAR is not WOW and we start having some effective team players and realmwide offensives going. People will bitch unendingly about anything and there will be people on this and every other forum who's joy in life will come from tearing this and every other game they don't play down.

Let's get to release and get some significant numbers in RvR at all ranks and see how the combat flows. Stop bringing your preconceptions and baggage into a new game and play it for what it is. Report the bugs, but leave the gameplay and features alone unless they are broken (see bugs). I certainly hope they don't change it based on a few complaints.
