Preview weekend... The game is running great. I have a 2yr old rig. (7800 gtx graphics card, etc)
Game runs fine. Definitely check this mmo out! |

I would also like to say this game is amazing...I have been in beta for a bit now and I am blown away.. Amazing PVE - So much to do you feel overwhelmed in a good way - PQ's are friggn narly.. Unmatched PVP - and by a mile...PVP is this games selling point and it delivers 1000% (like aoc tried to do but we won't go there) Amazing UI - Took the best from all the UI's around and added their own elements and feel - Best UI of any mmo on the market... Amazing World - Larger than any game I have ever played and not by a little..The attention to detail is also amazing Amazing Story - Every quest has a link to some part of the story and if you want immersion - you got it..
This is coming from someone that has played just about every MMO on the market and has max level raiding characters in EQ1, EQ2, Lotro, WoW, and AoC If you didn't already buy it what are you waiting for - this game is |

This game is pretty nice imo. Its not catering to everyone though so keep that in mind. If you don't like it you don't like it. WoW i'm sure will still be around for those people...

Great game. Great fun. I love the RvR. It's good in T1 scenarios but when you get to T2 and start doing the open RvR trying to capture / defend keeps the fun just goes to a whole new level. Many of the classes really start to come into their own then too. I suggest to anyone starting a new character to immediatley que up for a scenario. There is a little orange button on the upper left part of the mini map that does it. It will drop you into a scenario and buff your level to 8. Its amazing you can fight pretty effectively even though you only have a couple spells / attacks. And you will also start getting xp and renown right away. While your waiting for the que you can start doing the pve quests and exploring the world. Enjoy.

Still confused by this, the combat is no different than WoW which most people think is pretty fast paced. Haven't played runescape so no way to cmopare the two for me. IT is faster paced than AOC to be honest since AOC had very few caster instants and the melee system was setup such that it took 5 seconds for each special move. Of course AOC had one hit kills that just made it terrible but maybe someone thinks that makes it fast paced instead of just dumb. |
