Dark and Light wasn't killed by WoW. It was just a terrible, terrible game from the start. It was buggy, unfinished, the devs were morons, they hired multiple third-party companies to handle their public relations (none of whom knew anything about the game), they lied to their customers, they tried to make people pay to be in the beta (they called it a "pre-release") and they even stole V-World technology to make the game in the first place. And even if all of that hadn't happened, the gameplay was a joke anyway so it still would have sucked. In other words, Dark and Light was so terrible that it would have died anyway even if WoW had never been made. So WoW doesn't deserve any credit for this one. Each man must for himself alone decide what is right and what is wrong, which course is patriotic and which isn't. You cannot shirk this and be a man. Weird how this happens. Some ex wow players even go to the extent of denying they even played the game so they can join the disgruntled UO/EQ vet (sore losers) in their bias hatred.

None of those games ( except LotRO which really shouldn't be up there to begin with ) were killed by WoW. All of them were killed by dev and management incompetence and stupidity.

The picture doesn't necessarily have to imply that WoW killed them but that WoW is simply dominant over them. Hey I used to hate WoW too after I quit but then I realised I had a bloodly blast. I disagree...though just a joke the picture clearly implies that WOW " killed those games " There is a big difference between a game being vastly more popular and causing another game to become redundant . Never was a fan of wow or highfantasy in general , Played till 30 and couldn't take it any longer. Get your facts straight I am a disgruntled SWG vet . I played SWG for 3 years now EVE online and Ryzom(Which just reopened), Not hard to figure out why I don't like WOW. Less than 200k subs isn't good enough in these days. LOTRO's +150k subs might be good enough for the ones who loves and plays it but to me it's just a failure. And... as I said in the other thread, DDO, MxO and possibly SWG should be added to the trophy heads.
