Hi, I have an Asus G50 laptop I'm trying to install the preview weekend on. Everytime I try to install it it says I don't have the proper directx yet I'm running dx10 on vista premium 64bit. It then takes me to the microsoft webpage and asks me to download it.
I'm really confused and would love if you anyone had any advice to give. Thanks in advance =) |

My advice to anyone with any computer questions is to take them to a solid pc forum. mmorpg.com is a great place to get opinions on mmos and a terrible place to get computer advice.

Yeah you need to download the update for directx 9, I also have windows vista and got the same error, just updated my directx 9 from that link provided in warhammer and it worked. Hope this helps. |

It won't be a problem. The directx downloader thing checks what you already have and only updates as necessary, so it will be cool. edit: oops i type slow, you are already done, lol. Have fun in WAR! |
