I  know that playing with a Sat internet connection is bad I know all about FAP high latency and ping. Dont need to be told.

That being said for some users that is their only choice, Sat or dial up. I can play every other MMORPG out there. yes insta cast is more like 1.5-2 sec casts but i get to see the game talk to people and some classes are fun to play.  BUT I can log in and play. 1.5 down 256up id my plan FYI

I know there are alot  of Sat internet users out there ( we should for a support group) that play games.

Just wanted them to know  I am,(was) in the CB I could not use my home sat connection to login.

I could download the clients, patch just fine, load up, get to the choose server page ...

Login timed out

I can take the same Computer to a coffee house or other place  and play just fine.

(Im fat from coffee and treats to get game time)

They might be filtering out high latency connections or there Timeout for handshaking is too short.

You name the MMO i have played it at home. Even AOC.

Dont tell me to get DSL  I would if I could , I moved from a T3 to this   (its kinda like chewing glass)

Just though I'd tell the poor souls that are looking forward to the PW have spent there FAP getting the client  what was up.

Oh  Just FYI I am going to roll a healer for chaos just to help out order.

Problem sounds as if. I'm thinking just for the Beta though becuase you really wouldn't help in testing as your data would be very skewed.  Retail will most likely work.

Yea I knew that , I have been playing in other places a long time  Hence the 15 pounds of coffee and toffee bars in my gut ,

Yes PC that is what i am thinking too, I just didnt want a bunch of guys getting ready for the PW and being  Hey!  I spent  3 days getting this ready and i can play, 10 gigs of FAP down the drain.
