Don't even bother wasting your money on AOc, its not worth it . its just a wast of harddrive space.

I've been playing it since launch, and its gotten not better but worse with all of the exploites and hacks people use in it and all of the 1 shoting going on in pvp.

Also you can't post anything on the forums about leaving the game or how bad the game is with out getting your forums account suspened by fanboi Mods that FC doesn't keep in check.

AOC is a laggridden bugfest. I think at this point vanguard would be better then AOC.

Save your self the trouble and wait for Warhammer  next month.

I'm in the War preview this weekend and my AoC disk went in the trash where it should have been before launch.

Strange I saw quite few posts aka leaving the game or how bad is this and that ....
To save yourself the trouble dont jump and the war hype wagon before its released for couple of weeks ....

I'm not hyping War just waiting for the preview this weekend  to see for myself what its like (and praying its better that AoC at launch or i'm canceling the preorder).

I really feel for ya. How a forum moderator could be rude enough to tell you lies like "It is not allowed to post in forum when you have cancelled your account" is beyond my understanding.. Instead of blaming their customers, they should have implemented a system for blocking their users from the forums once cancelled then.. anyway, there is no freedom on the official AoC boards. Freedom of speech, meh..

Not allowed to post on the forums after you cancel your account? Unless they've started offering prorated refunds (rhetorical, I know they haven't) that doesn't seem right. You paid for the full month, where do they get off curtailing your account privledges just because you canceled?

Funny thing is this game is such a pile of steaming fly feast that I hardly blame them for this I mean they are getting a failing grade on every aspect of game design and management

What puzzles me is how Funcom doesnt care that having idiots for moderators (like this gryjin) is bad for business. It seems this is an example of not only losing a customer but making damn sure that customer will NEVER come back but instead spread the word how Funcom's game is not worth paying for.

Maybe the "real PvP" in AoC was intended to be between the Posters and the Mods all along?

If that's the case, the Mods need to be nerfed. Way overpowered... and takes no skill to play. "Delete" and "Ban" are total "I Win" buttons.

The "Poster" class, at least, has to use some strategic word-play to get their point-across without incurring the Mods' wrath... But those Mods... they're trigger happy.

So lame.

Whether AoC is a bad game or not, posting something saying AoC is a bad game in it's forums is asking for trouble, and their are already threads like this to discuss AoC and how much you like/dislike it.

You my friend need to quit gaming in general. No matter how crappy the game is, you sound like you need friends. And on a side note, I've already read 6 threads posted on the AoC forums bashing the game. And the threads are almost 2 weeks old. But yeah, your right. Only good threads there. Shoot looking at the forums now, it's hard to find a good thread. All I see is people crying because the game didn't give them instant gratification.

I had a post outright deleted when I asked if something a player did was considered an exploit.  I guess the official policy is we can't tell you.  That's the only response I got from them.  Maybe they're just tired of dealing with those exploits.  It's about time they fixed some of them. 

I agree though, AoC is not worth it.  I thought SOE was bad; they are a bunch of unethical bastards.  I think Funcom is just too stupid as an organization to be anything more than a bunch of children.  Either way, stay away from them; you'll be better for it.

Well, to be fair Funcom did make a policy change regarding their forums about two weeks ago. Before that a lot more threads that contained something negative about AoC where deleted. But even Funcom couldnt stand the flak that got them. Some big time dude at Funcom who had no personal feelings attached to the development of AoC (only money) must have forced them to change that super censor tactic.

If they hadnt their forums would be almost dead.

AoC was terrible. After all the hype behind AoC however I am not going to jump on the war bandwagon. I dont trust devs and their lies.

You really are incorrect on your assumption on what an MMO is suppose to be or  what is acceptable issues with a game .

Do you think people are exaggerating the bugs,lack of contact and unbalanced PVP  and these are figments of peoples imagination?

This post about how the Mods treat people on the official forums has been a major point of contention for many...its one of the main reasons I left the game.The Mods are childish and unprofessional and we cant have enough post's about bad treatment of paying customers
