Thanks frog, but, the class i'm interested in playing is shadow warrior, and mythic have said they don't dual wield, in the cinematic they do... .. . . . . :S?

This was posted this morning in another post but i'm all for keeping it on the main page.  It looks awesome.  I love how even in the video they make it like Destruction is the more powerful side, and Order faces unbeatable odds.  It's cool that it's like that in most servers also, and Order does just that all the time.  Very nice.

Does any one know if SW do dual wield? Why would mythic make a mistake in their own trailer?

Yeah they don't dual wield.  The one in the trailer wasn't a typical shadow warrior.  She was born ambidextrous.

you noticed that too eh? The chick was dual wielding swords and then stabs the marauder with them, magically she's wielding a Bow right after.

Maybe they cut out a scene or two for cleaner editting.

This one is much different than the previously edited version they had, where you never even saw the archer on the roof until the marauder was walking down the alley.

Oh come on.. It's cinematic trailer, it wasn't supposed to be perfect copy of actual gameplay.

You can also argue that Orc can't literally take human and kick him in the stairs as he does in the movie.

That looked quite good.

I thought the part with the sorceress and the SW was hilarious though... when she blew the SW a kiss I lol'd. I thought it was going to get into some serious action.

EDIT: I was upset that I didn't get to see any Witch Hunters in action, that would have probably been kickass guessing how good they made the SW look. I loved the squig herder... made him look like a fun class to play in the game even though I don't think that would be an in-game ability lol.

That was really badass.

Whoever is on the CGI team is doing a damn good job.

Shadow warriors dont Duel wield

Orcs dont use daggers

Brightwizards dont heal themselves

Engineers cant 1 shot everything

Being CCed doesnt mean you can get insta gibbed when hit

I don't think the BW healed himself in the video.  Looks to me like he used cauterize which removes varying types of wound effects like bleeding etc.  As in he cauterized the big @ss hole in his chest.  How he fixed the whole impaled heart thing is a cat of a different color.

Bright Wizards do have a certain ability to sear wounds shut. That was the ability the movie showed.

Heaven knows how long it took to produce.  How many of you would have liked to see them work more on the game instead of devote team members and resources on this project?

Ok enough of that.  I would loved to see Karl Franz make a showing before the end.

Heh. I guess it is, that's pretty funny. And cool, I didn't expect classes to be that unique. I was expecting the standard WoW hunter for squig herders.

Hehe, goblins of any kind are hilarious in-game. It's just a badass concept to have one. Also, that Sorceress was dripping with sex appeal. Kind of makes me glad to be a Sorcerer. :P But...I think they should have made the Chaos Lord's third arm a bit more active.

Thats really impressive. If only I could play my games whilst it looking that awesome

Well, Shadow Warriors dual-wield in the lore, they just don't in the game because they wanted their bow DPS to outdps their melee DPS. It wasn't a mistake.
