even though I have been enjoying the Beta WAY more then I have ever enjoyed an released MMO I still think it is a good idea to pull the plug for now.

Check your mail, you may get have a invite to the TEST SERVERS that are up. Apparently there is a NDA for Test Servers at this point as well, if I read their information right. |

yep very sad. I have today off, but not this weekend. Everything creates huge amounts of negativity on the internet, that's what the internet is for: Negativity, porn and lolcats. |

LOL i set the beta client download as i went off to work today to come back to the beta being closed down.. LOL Oh well from what i have read the combat is still too slow and the world has no soul so never mind.. i might pick it up when the trial comes out. (note, just my opinion) |

on a lighter note...i have TR and ryzom i can try out...since TR i got a come back for free till the 31st, and free Ryzom....hopefully this can stave off my war addiction for now

Any chance anyone has a spare Ryzom account be it trial or not that i can temporarily use, I would love to try out the game especially while WAR is down. |

Sorry my bad. I guess it depends on what slow is to you? The only MMO I can think of that is faster is.. WoW. I think it is a much more strategic combat system than WoW though, and to me combat isn't slow at all. It is a great combat system especially when compared to all of the other MMO's on the market. Were you expecting WoW 2.0? This is more DaOC 2.0 and for many that was the greatest combat system in an MMO ever. Like you said though just your opinion and just mine. I am glad you have WotLK coming out so we both have something we love to play. As fast as WoW is 90% of the combat is crowd control. You have no idea how thankful I am that there is no CC in WAR. |
