It looks like indeed a perfect game with flying and angels and humanbeasts (and human again ) but when i tried to download it (from gamershell) it goes wrong. when i tried to unpack it in winrar he had problems with pack4.pck couldnt unpack it good, but the dowload was finished and i could install it. but on 78% by model.ins(i thougt it was ins) he asked me to do a 4 cd in it or something but i dont have any CD's does someone has that problem to and if thats so... could u have the answer to solve the problem? im desperete to try this game!!!!!

If I were you, I would plan on playing come Monday when the Perfect World International servers open. You can download the client directly from their site either as a direct download or as a torrent. You can still probably get a CB key here at mmorpg.com (not sure how many more they have left)

idk whay but evvery time ti DL the game client from PWI it wont let m extract it its getting annoying cause ive been waiting to play this game for a while.

yea i know that is wat seems to be the problems for most gamers out there that would like to try this game and yet theyre not able to extarct files and thats wat im going through...i think its too much trouble to let the developer know that their customers are having trouble DLing the game...can anyone let them know if they can do something about it, itll be a big help for all their customers patiently waiting to play this woderful game PerfectWorld International Thank You!

You should get a .zip file with all the stuff needed to install the game.  You need to unpack the whole zip file to a new folder.  If it errors trying to unpack, try getting a newer zip program (like 7 zip as a free example).  If that still says the archive is corrupted, or it just won't unpack properly then it's a problem with the data4 file.  If that's the case, manually unzip all the files except that one to a new folder (dragging them manually one at a time), and download the data4 file from here.  Then unzip the data4 file to the folder that has all the other files.  After that you should be able to install the game.  Good luck, and I hope this helps.

The Zip file they loaded into the different download sites is corrupted :/ Bugger. Use the direct download from their site. It provides you a EXE downloader which works fine and fast.

If u guys going to play PW internation, when download, u should down by bit torrent because the rest are all broken ( I tried like 20 times and only bit torrent worked)

Yeah, the direct download would be the preferred way to go.  I tried the bit torrent, but unfortunately when I was trying to fix my corrupted archive there were few peers around and I was stuck dl'ing at like 75-100 k/sec :(

The link for the data4 by itself does work fine, that's how I fixed my corrupted download.  Aftter putting that data 4 in with the rest of the "official" files, I told it to examine all the data files before and after the install.  Both passed 100%. 

But, if it doesn't work for you, then I do sincerely hope the bit torrent works (and I've heard that it does)...closed beta coming up soon
