Wasn't too bad.  I tried to think of it when I went there It wont be as good and ep IV, V, and VI but it may be better than I, II, III

It was pretty decent. I have to give them credit about the action. It was non stop.  No cheesy love scenes and Anakin only whined three times in it (versus the 40 per movie in the live films).

What I enjoyed most was the fact that the theatre had a Darth Vader in the lobby playing with the kids.  This guy had an outfit that must have been over a thousand bucks. It was real leather, real linen cloaks and cape, and the mask was so authentic, he took the top piece off the expose the bottom piece and all the screws and fastners were actual metal and real.  Not to mention the guy was over 6'5.

My son just went crazy when he saw him. He's only 6 so I had a hard time explaining to him that Anakin was also Darth Vader.

Don't mock me my friend. It's a condition of mental divergence.

I would go crazy if I saw such a bitchin Vader suit.

If the movie was like the animated series on Cartoon Network then it should be pretty good, Grievous was awesome pre chest crush, but I think the movie takes place after Grievous is injured right?

Here I was complainin' about loss of pride and how life had treated me, and now I realized... I never had any pride

No, but the two complimented each other very well.

I'd like to ask, is it wrong to cosplay when you have such an awesome darth vader suit?  I think it may well be required.

If you are not being responded to directly, you are probably on my ignore list.

Public forums. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.

No. Plain fact. If you fit the description (6 foot 5 like the described guy was) have an AWESOME costume that doesn't skip on detail and amazingness.. then it's required you cosplay for the sake of the other antendees.

Fat guys with acne dressed up as sailor moon = No.
Tall guys with awesome dark vader suits that look authentic = Yes.

As for the Movie, I'm an avid star wars fan. Mostly EU (expanded Universe; meaning books, video games, and so on. Not exactly the 6 base movies), so i wasn't sure if I wanted to go see the animated movie or not. I was trying to get the girlfriend to go along (as she's somewhat of a geek.. though doesn't share my extreme love for Star Wars.. that'll change eventually..) but she says the movie looks stupid at how the animation was done (with the very cartoonish/artsy 3D style) and I have to keep reminding her, she hasn't even seen New Hope and Empire Strikes back so she has no room to talk lol.

But if you say it was pretty good, i'll have to shell out the bucks to go see it and keep an open mind.

Its decent. Im not saying its freak amazing lol. Dont come out of that theatre pissed at me lol.

If you go in thinking it may be on the same lvl as Episodes 1, 2, 3 you will be happy.

If you go in thinking it may be on the same lvl as episodes 4, 5, 6 you may be pissed.

But it did have a decent plot and non stop action. And I stress non stop action. It was just non stop.

I can't watch ep. IV-VI anymore.. and I grew up on those like so many others.  I am not saying I'm a fan of ep I-III either... but these days, I'd rather spend my time wathcing them.  Luke Skywalker was just as much of a whiner as Anakin.  Like father like son.  Besides, Anakin turns evil, and evil is -always- more fun.

And killing off Darth Maul was the biggest mistake they made in ep I.

Anywho... I've read a few books, and they are so much better than any of the movies.

I will check out Clone Wars when I can though, non-stop action does sound like good fun.

If i had a ton of extra money laying around, i would buy a custom made suit of Mandalorian armor and walk the streets in it...

I'm interested in the TV show that comes from this movie though, it might be worth watching.

There's something kinda sad about the way that things have come to be, desensitized to everything, what became of subtlety?

But I was going to Tashe station to pick up some power converters!

I like the old films more overall, but the lightsaber battles are just so much better in the new movies...i know that some people like to say that they were mmore like authentic sword battles, but I'm sorry, they were lame as hell, especially Obi Wan vs.  Darth Vader...The Darth Maul versus Obi Wan and Qui Gon fight, and the Anakin vs Obi Wan fight were some of the greatest fighting scenes in any movie ever made.
