so ur saying that since hes only lvl 32 that he doesnt know crap....

wow

ur crap

lvl doesnt matter when i popped the game in and realized i didnt like it at all i wasnt near 32

soooo lvl doesnt matter??? maybe... maybe ur a *censored*.... i hate people that think lvl matters becuz it doesnt when u play a game u should enjoy urself from lvl 1 to max  and in aoc .. i personally didnt like the game...

Wow, who pissed in your Cheerios this morning?  Its a fairly well known phenomenon that people's satisfaction with AOC goes down in direct to proportion to the level they reach. Sure, some folks drop it after level 5, but for those who give it a fair trial, as they level up the decreasing amount of well designed/developed content tends to increase their dissatisfaction with the game.

I am part of the phenomenon, the game was pretty fun up to 40..but by the time I got two characters up to 55/48 the magic had worn off and I cancelled both of my accounts just this week.

edit: Oh yeah, and with regards to Avery's comment that more people are still subscribing than have quit.  I'll take that bet Avery.... I'm willing to say that's not true, that more have left than remain now from my own personal observations on two servers.

The low level areas and main cities are ghost towns atm compared to the first month of launch....

Its not bad reviews who bring down game companies, nor do people who post negative posts in forums bring down game companies. Only game companies can bring themselves down by making bad games. It's that simple. The impact of reviews and forums posts is WAY overrated. I mean, I can understand you get this impressions if you spent too much time on forums like this, heh. But the reality is, most MMO customers never ever go to forums or read reviews whatsoever. We here are the minority of the minority of the minority.

I know its hard to face the own uninportance but I can sleep much better knowing nothing said here or in any forum has any relevance in the real world.

Nah don't think Funcom will tank. I do think though that a vast majority of people will be more skeptical to "The Secret World" no matter what hype.

RIP Blackguard. May a resurrection come.

It''s my job to be objective, it''s my right to have an opinion.

I personally disagree with the message this topic conveys, and for a few reasons.

For one, the OP is in (at least, in my opinion) a super minority of the in-game population: the ultra casuals. Given the fact that this game can be capped out in a matter of days, the fact that he's only level 32 shows that he doesn't/hasnt been able to dedicate the amount of time that I would say the vast majority of the players have. Now, I don't fault him for that; he still hasn't seen the worst parts of the game. However, for the majority of players who HAVE experienced the worst parts of the game, I can completely and totally empathize with them.

Secondly, I disagree regarding the time-frame. This game is still fresh, and people may or may not have tried it yet. I don't believe there should be any doubts in their mind before purchasing this game; they should be aware that this game isn't finished, and is being hosted and run in a very unprofessional manner. When companies in this industry just blatantly disrespect the community they are catering to, I have a hard time defending them. Between the bans, lack of customer service, abusive/unhelpful mods and GM's, broken promises, frequent delays, missing content, broken content, and flat out PR lies, I see absolutely no reason anyone should defend Funcom, or Age of Conan. Not yet, anyway. However, games like SWG, which are long dead and gone, shouldn't have bashing-crusades running rampant.

That is actually one of my favorite things about this particular board; there's no sugar-coating this game's problems. Age of Conan has done a LOT of things to garner hatred from it's community, and I don't see why the people who paid for this game should silence themselves.

I believe Funcom deserves all the negative publicity they're receiving, and at this time, have zero sympathy for them.
