Smedley at Fan Faire just announced that the Battle for Echo Base will in fact be brought in as an instance. Imperials will be able to Battle with ATST's or snow speeders if your on the rebel side. Will be a complete layout of the entire station that will have something to do with rebel vs imperial in a hurry up and get the stuff out of the base if ur rebel. And an Imperial side invasion focused to stop the rebs from evac.

Also they are bringing back life day again this year and a Halloween type event.

Looking forward to this, and the rest of the game works just fine. At least the vets can't say this is recycled from Pre-CU :)

I imagine the next major effort to bring back vets (with a free trial, of course) will happen right after this comes out.

If there is a free trial, I'll of course check it out.  Dunno what my Jedi toon has to do with a battle that had like two FS types present at it, and only one of them ignited a lightsaber at the battle, but what the hey...

Would be nice but it's instanced and that totally goes against what the game was about for me so still not going to come back.

Actualy Hoth was officialy announced earlier this year, and Lifeday never went anywhere they are just bringing back the adventure element that was assosiated with it.

Actualy Hoth was officialy announced earlier this year, and Lifeday never went anywhere they are just bringing back the adventure element that was assosiated with it.

     Yes , the Battle for Echo base was perviously  announced  but WoW that Chris Fields and SOE likes to pretend that its really the fifth anniversary  of the Game .

 Its the Fifth anniversary of the Original Game yes but its going to be 2 more years - 10/15/10 for the fifth anniversary of the NGE -  an anniversary unobtainable.
