I'm not surprised, although it would be interesting to see what percentage of people purchasing a ticket are only doing so in order to get the stupid little promotional item and have no real intention of attending the convention. Some of the stupid crap people will pay hundreds for is incredible. |

Though its not like its not a compelling reason to go, free crap, free info on upcoming games, and usually a beta for said games. Pretty good idea imo. I'm surprised there wasn't so much complaining, they had a problem with the sells of the tickets and people weren't able to buy them.

Who even gives a shit about Wrath keys or WoW news? It'll be out before year's end, anyway. A chance for the D3 or SC2 beta is what I'd want. Anyway, $100 is too much for me right now. |
